Make it Rain: 9 BTC Promo Terms and Conditions

By Jeff Stinger

How to Join

  • All players that will meet the qualifying requirements will automatically be included in the monthly random draw with a prize pool of 1 BTC (1,000 mBTC).
  • A player must have placed a parlay bet/wager with the following parlay requirements to gain an entry or entries to the monthly draw;
    • Minimum of 3 Legs
    • Minimum bet amount of 1 mBTC for every wager
    • Date Range – Bet placed from the 1st day to the last day of the month
  • Each user can gain 1 ENTRY for EVERY 1 mBTC bet from a qualified parlay wager; the total number of entries earned is not for the number of parlay bets made but the total amount (accumulated, rounded down) of bets.
    • For example, a user bet a 10.4 mBTC parlay and then another 2.3 mBTC parlay. This user will be gaining a total of 12 entries (10 entries for the first parlay and then 2 entries for the second parlay)

How to Win

  • The random draw is scheduled on or before the 10th of each month during the promo period (see below for the full schedule).
  • Ninety-nine (99) lotto numbers will be declared as winning entries from among the official list produced every month.
  • Each winning entry will be credited 0.01 BTC (10 mBTC) for each time a user gains a winning lotto number in the draw.
  • A user can have multiple winning lotto numbers for a bigger share of the prize pool each month, either with multiple unique lotto numbers drawn as winners or multiple winning entries via duplicate lotto numbers in the draw.
    • Example: a user earned 5 winning lotto numbers from the draw; that user will be credited 5 x 0.01 BTC (or 0.05 BTC) as the total winnings.
    • Example: a user earned 2 winning lotto numbers from the draw, with the same lotto number being drawn twice; that user will be credited 2 x 0.01 BTC (or 0.02 BTC) as the total winnings.

Official Entries Publishing and Allotting Lotto Numbers for the Monthly Draw
  • The qualified players will be listed on the promo page for that month, updated weekly with a final list published after the end of each month.
  • The regular updating list will include the number of entries the user has gained so far during the qualifying period that month.
    • For example, a user has earned 12 entries, therefore, the number displayed will be “Nitro ID (12)”.
  • In the final official list published at the end of the month, the players’ Nitro IDs will be arranged in chronological order with the corresponding number of entries also listed in chronological order based on the number of entries he has gained that month.
    • For example, the user with Nitro ID Nitro123 has earned 12 entries and another user with Nitro ID Nitro456 has earned 13 entries; the list will be displayed as Nitro ID (Lotto Numbers for the Random Draw);
      • Nitro123 (1-12)
      • Nitro456 (13-25)
    • In the list above, this means that the user with Nitro ID Nitro123 has the #1 to #12 lotto numbers and the user with Nitro ID Nitro456 has the #13 to #25 lotto numbers in the draw.
    • The numbers in the parenthesis are the “lotto numbers” for the draw; meaning if those numbers are picked during the draw then that user “owning” that lotto number will be declared one of the winners.

Provably Fair Random Draw via Third Party Sites

  • The final list of qualified players and entries (using their lotto numbers) after the end of each month will be the basis for the random draw done via www.stat.berkeley.edu and using a blockchain hash via blockchain.info, both third-party websites, for full transparency;
    • On draw day, Nitrobetting will announce via the blog and social media channels the latest current height of the blockchain from blockchain.info and the block hash to be used as the seed in the draw via www.stat.berkeley.edu.
    • The hash of that block will be put into a SHA-256 PRNG (Pseudo-Random Number Generator or “RNG” using SHA-256) as the “SEED” with the total number of entries (lotto numbers in the published list) as the “NUMBER OF OBJECTS FROM WHICH TO SAMPLE” and the “DRAW THIS MANY OBJECTS” as the number of winners for that month’s draw. The winning lotto numbers will come from the “ITEMS SELECTED” and/or “SORTED ITEMS SELECTED” categories. To summarize:
      • SEED – Block hash generated inputted in the RNG page
      • NUMBER OF OBJECTS FROM WHICH TO SAMPLE – The total number of entries/lotto numbers qualified
      • DRAW THIS MANY OBJECTS – Number of winners
      • ITEMS SELECTED/SORTED ITEMS SELECTED – The winning lotto numbers from the draw
    • Users with the matching lotto numbers from the draw listed in the final list of qualified players will be declared the winners and the Nitrobetting blog page will be updated to reflect the winning Nitro IDs/entries/lotto numbers.
