2021 March Madness Betting Odds (January)
It was just a couple of weeks ago since the 2020-21 College Basketball season started. With the COVID-10 pandemic, it was up in the air at first. But the NCAA were able to pull off this season, implementing changes within the usual schedule. Such as teams not playing more than 27 regular season games, with a minimum of four non-conference games. At the dates are set to start on March 16th and 2021 March Madness betting odds are starting to roll out. So it seems it will definitely happen.
Even though the schedule is set, anything can happen at anytime. Hopefully, the season will continue as planned and there will be a champion crowned on April 5th, 2021.

Oddsmakers have started to publish their odds to win 2021 March Madness, as they always do when the previous season ends.
As of now, the top favorite to win are the Gonzaga Bulldogs (+350), who haven’t lost since the start of the season and are currently on top of the AP Polls. The pandemic hasn’t affected the position much, even after cancelling a game recently. Keep an eye out for this guys.
There are a couple of teams trying to snag the number one spot. The Baylor Bears and Villanova Wildcats are tied in the March Madness betting odds (+1200). For Baylor, they also haven’t seen a loss so far this season. Their recent win against the Illinois Fighting Illini helped them boost to that position. They definitely have all it takes to takes the first spot.
For the Villanova Wildcats, their looking to get back to the championship status, after their last appearance in the tournament back in 2018, which ended in a title victory. In 2019, they made it to the Round of 32, losing terribly to the Purdue Boilermakers. After that performance, they’re looking for redemption. So far, they have lost one game this season against the Virginia Tech Hokies, but have been able to shake that loss off to stay afloat.
