Dallas Cowboys at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- 2021 NFL Week 1 Odds: Tampa Bay Buccaneers -8
It’s difficult to have faith in either Dallas’ defense or Dak Prescott coming back one-hundred percent from injury. The Bucs are loaded on both sides of the football. Tom Brady will ensure all systems are go in Tampa’s first game.

Philadelphia Eagles at Atlanta Falcons
- 2021 NFL Week 1 Odds: Atlanta Falcons -3.5
Some believe the Eagles field a decent team. It’s hard to see that happening on Sunday because even though Gardner Minshew is a step up from Joe Flacco and Jalen Hurts, he’s been in the team for a couple of weeks. Atlanta’s offense should be one of the better units in the league while the defense has no choice but to have improved. The Falcons should cover.

Pittsburgh Steelers at Buffalo Bills
- 2021 NFL Week 1 Odds: Buffalo Bills -6.5
It makes sense why NFL handicappers are on the Bills to cover the spread. Buffalo looks like one of the best teams in the NFL. But although Pittsburgh shouldn’t win this, 6.5 are too many points. Big Ben Roethlisberger won’t make mistakes. Not only that, Mike Tomlin is a genius coach. The Steelers could surprise and win on the moneyline. Taking the points make sense.

Arizona Cardinals at Tennessee Titans
- 2021 NFL Week 1 Odds: Tennessee Titans -3
Why is Tennessee only a 3 point favorite? The Titans averaged over 30 points per game last season. If not for their porous defense, they may have gone further in the playoffs. Arizona has a good offense. The defense should be better with JJ Watt, but the Cards are on the road. Tennessee should easily cover the 3.

Denver Broncos at New York Giants
- 2021 NFL Week 1 Odds: Denver Broncos -3
Denver could field the best defense in the league this season. Not only that, but the Broncos have a legit QB1 in starter Teddy Bridgewater. The former Saint and Viking gets to throw the ball to a fantastic group of receivers led by former Alabama star Jerry Jeudy. Denver wins by at least 7.

Cleveland Browns at Kansas City Chiefs
- 2021 NFL Week 1 Odds: Kansas City Chiefs -6
The Browns are 5-15-1 ATS in their last 22 games in Week 1. That’s a horrendous against the spread record. This season, Cleveland has the much better rushing attack in their Week 1 matchup. The Browns’ defense won’t contain Patrick Mahomes. But if Cleveland can rush the football and control the clock, they could sneak away with a cover victory.

Chicago Bears at Los Angeles Rams
- 2021 NFL Week 1 Odds: Los Angeles Rams -7.5
Three key players on the Rams’ defense, DE A’Shawn Robinson, SLB Leonard Floyd, and LCB Darious Williams, are listed as questionable. Chicago starting quarterback Andy Dalton has experience and a top weapon in WR Allen Robinson II. The line should be closer to Rams -5.5 than -7.5, which makes the Bears an overlay.

Baltimore Ravens at Las Vegas Raiders
- 2021 NFL Week 1 Odds: Baltimore Ravens -4.5
Baltimore is better than Vegas. But the Raiders play the Ravens in Sin City. Expect a raucous crowd to show up to LV’s new stadium. Not only that, but Derek Carr has become one of the better signal-callers in the NFL.
