Lando Norris

2022 Brazilian Grand Prix Odds: +32500

The man from McLaren scored points at the previous Mexican GP. It’s one of the few instances where he finished behind teammate Daniel Ricciardo. Nevertheless, the British driver remains the scorer for McLaren with 111 points to his name and is good for seventh place in the Driver Standings.

Lando is a common sight in the top ten. Although he is yet to score another podium since the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, the 22-year-old managed 16 points finishes in 20 starts. The young driver records an average grid start of 8.2 and an average finish of 7.89. These are solid numbers considering the MCL36’s lack of straight-line speed. Furthermore, the former 2017 FIA F3 European Champion holds a decent track record in Brazil, finishing P10 in the 2021 edition.

Daniel Ricciardo

  • 2022 Brazilian Grand Prix Odds: +67400

The Australian driver got a little breathing room at the Mexican GP with his seventh points finish of the season. It’s been a tough second half for Ricciardo after struggling to score points since the beginning of the calendar. Expectations were high for the former Red Bull driver since suiting up for the Woking-based constructor. However, McLaren and Danny Ric agreed to cut his contract a year short, leaving him without a drive in the 2023 season.

No one knows if Ricciardo will return to the grid anytime soon. But, if he delivers the same energy and pace from the Mexican Grand Prix, there’s no question that other teams will keep him under the radar. The 33-year-old still has a few good years left in him, and scoring his first podium finish in Brazil would positively affect his portfolio as he tries to secure a drive in the next few seasons.

Valtteri Bottas

  • >2022 Brazilian Grand Prix Odds: +95000

Flying the Finnish flag this season is Alfa Romeo’s Valtteri Bottas, who recently returned to the points with a P10 finish in Brazil. The former Mercedes man needs to get to grips with his new machine. Many expected Bottas to shake up the midfield at least, but several unlucky circumstances and a comparably slower car brought him down the ranks. Despite starting the season well with seven points finishes in eight races, his performance declined in the second half.

Despite everything, the 33-year-old will remain in our top 2022 Brazilian Grand Prix sleeper picks list. With plenty of experience and the pedigree of a race winner, it will be nice to see him win the Brazilian Grand Prix since his last victory at Interlagos in 2017 driving one of the Silver Arrows.
