Top Choice to Win the 2022 Coca Cola 600

Denny Hamlin struggled before Kansas. But Denny crossed the finish line fourth at Kansas and then finished second in the All-Star Race. We can’t take All-Star finishes too seriously. However, for Hamlin, the finish is a sign he and his crew may have turned things around.

Before Kansas, Denny had finished eighteenth at Talladega, twenty-first at Dover, and twenty-first at Darlington. So the finish at Kansas and in the all-star event are excellent signs. Last year, Hamlin finished seventh in this race. He can pull off the upset victory at better thanexpected odds.

Second Top Choice to Win the 2022 Coca Cola 600

If you want to back chalk, Kyle Larson seems like a better play than Kyle Busch. Larson had a terrible time at Darlington, finishing thirty-sixth. Before Darlington, Kyle drove well with a sixth place finish at Dover and a fourth at Talladega. After Darlington, Larson finished second at Kansas. He won this race last year. So a top five finish should be in the cards for sure. If Kyle grabs the pole on Friday, his odds will drop. So if you like him, back Larson before the potential odds drop.

Third Top Choice to Win the 2022 Coca Cola 600

Martin Truex Jr. didn’t race well at the 2021 Coca Cola 600. The +1000 choice in this year’s event finished twenty-ninth. But Truex Jr. won the Coca Cola 600 in 2019. Not only that, but he finished sixth at Kansas. So there’s a reason to believe the Joe Gibbs driver gets it together enough to take the checkered flag on Sunday night.

Top Underdog Choice to Win the 2022 Coca Cola 600

Like Joe Gibbs teammate Martin Truex Jr., Christopher Bell didn’t have a fantastic time at last year’s Coca Cola 600. Bell finished twenty-fourth. But based on recent events, including the all-star race, Bell is in line for a great performance. Bell followed up a fourth place finish at Dover with a sixth at Darlington. Christopher finished fifth at Kansas and crossed the finish line tenth in the all-star event. He’s driving great and his crew is making all the right moves. At the odds, Christopher Bell qualifies as the best underdog play on the board.
