Topping this list is defending championship Max Verstappen, who scored 233 points in total after his French Grand Prix victory. The Belgian-Dutch driver is a (-500) favorite to win the Drivers’ Championship this season. Red Bull teammate Sergio Perez (+10000) sits in third place with 163 points.
Trailing Verstappen is Scuderia’s Charles Leclerc, who suffered an unfortunate accident in their recent skirmish. This third DNF cost the Monegasque crucial points to stay in the title fight. With all the woes Ferrari is going through this season, Leclerc is on a tighter timetable to close the deficit. Nevertheless, the 24-year-old is a (+400) favorite to get the title.
Carlos Sainz is arguably the unluckiest driver on the grid this season. But, the Spaniard keeps his head down and snatched third place in the drivers’ standings with 163 points. He is a (+6600) sleeper pick to win this year’s title, but a crucial component of Ferrari’s hunt for the Constructors’ award.
Seven-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton struggles to keep up with Red Bull and Ferrari since the new generation of cars. But with all the development demands and efforts of Mercedes, he managed to score 127 points and a P2 finish at Circuit Paul Ricard last weekend. He is a (+4000) Drivers’ Championship sleeper pick at the time of writing.
