2022 FIFA World Cup Semi-Final Picture
We’re days away from finding out which teams meet in the 2022 FIFA World Cup final. The semis are next in line to bring us much-needed action and betting. All remaining teams have proven themselves to be the next winners. Tournament favorites Brazil are no longer in the picture after being ousted by 2018 finalists Croatia. However, their CONMEBOL rivals Argentina and talisman Lionel Messi are still in the running. This Argentina vs. Croatia matchup opens the semi-final stage at the Lusail Stadium.
The other semifinal features France and Morocco in a David vs. Goliath matchup. The Europeans secured a lifeline in a close call against England. Meanwhile, Morocco stood strong against giants Spain and Portugal to become the first-ever African nation to make a World Cup semi-final appearance.

Argentina vs. Croatia
Croatia stunned the Brazilians by sending home the tournament favorites on penalty kicks in the quarter-final. They face a stout South American opponent in the first World Cup semi-final match on Tuesday. Argentina is the strong favorite at -118 in this one, but we expect nothing less from the Croatians. We anticipate a competitive clash between the two sides. Croatia knows how to defend and keep things tidy on the defensive third as their five matches in Qatar have shown. The 2018 finalists have only conceded three goals in the tournament so far, and we’ve seen how stingy they are when it comes to keeping a clean sheet.
Meanwhile, Argentina seeks revenge after falling in the hands of Croatia in the 2018 FIFA World Cup group stage. With pace, aggression, and desire to add a third start on their logo, they are likely to set the tone of the game as the Europeans settle with +407 odds to win. Both have experienced midfielders, but Argentina looks like the better side on paper.
France vs. Morocco
The first African team to reach this stage of the World Cup entered the semi-finals in style. They got here by eliminating Portugal in the quarter-final match and pulled off several upset wins before that. Morocco sent two tournament favorites in Spain and Belgium. The North African side conceded only one goal in the tournament and it was an own goal against Canada in their third group stage game. Their iron-clad defense leads us to believe that France will get a run for its money. The Atlas Lions take on Les Bleus as +696 match underdogs.
Defending World Cup champions France continue their fight to become only the second back-to-back tournament winners and they will be the overwhelming favorites against Morocco at -185. Didier Deschamps proved that they are one of the best teams in the tournament and were on cruise control until the second stage of the knockouts against England, which they won 2-1. Although England had a chance to stretch the game to extra time from a Harry Kane missed penalty, the French side did enough to keep Gareth Southgate and his men at bay.
