Sacramento Kings vs. Los Angeles Lakers

Sacramento is 3-1 ATS in their last 4. The Kings are playing well. For Sacramento, it all starts with guards Tyrese Halliburton and De’Aaron Fox. Both can dish and score. The Lakers have won two straight, but the teams they beat, Portland and Minnesota, aren’t great. If Fox and Halliburton play, they can rough up the Lakers’ guards. Sacramento is the play to cover.

The Warriors head into this after an inspiring Jan. 1 victory over Utah and before a Monday game versus Miami. Dallas dusted Golden State 133-103 in the last head-to-head. But that game happened in April, 2021. Steph and his teammates exact revenge on Luka and the Mavs.

Boston’s Jaylen Brown dropped 50 onto the Orlando Magic in a 116-111 overtime victory on Jan. 2 The Knicks lost the lats head-to-head by 7 and have fallen to 17-20 to begin the new year. NYK’s defense is terrific. The offense is struggling to find shooters. Celtics take this.

Bam Adebayo is out until mid-January, but the Heat are in good hands as long as Jimmy Butler takes to the court. Butler averages over 23 points, and close to 6 boards and 6 assists per. But although Butler is playing fantastic and the Heat are winning without Adebayo, things could go south this week. Before facing the Suns, Miami travels to Golden State and to Portland. Phoenix might be at full strength on Saturday. DeAndre Ayton is out due to an illness. But he should clear protocols tip-off in this. Suns roll to a win and cover.

The Bulls bring a 7-game winning streak into the week. Chicago has dominated by shooting 38.6% from three and over 47% from the field. DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine are scoring at will. Dallas has some scorers on their side, but the defense is suspect. Luka will play his best. It won’t be enough.
