It’s been a very challenging NFL survivor campaign thus far, which makes Week 8 of the 2022 NFL season quite an anomaly. That’s great news for the few battle-hardened survivors left standing, especially as we approach the ever-so-critical midway point of the season and with a limited number of participants left in each of our Nitro NFL Survivor buy-in pools.

A Rare Oasis From An Otherwise Unforgiving Season
Nitrobetting continues its season-long quest of delivering the best NFL survivor experience on the web with its Nitro NFL Survivor Pool contests with a total purse worth over 10.73 BTC (~$218,500) across eight unique survivor pools. Finally, a little bit of reprieve is very much welcome with Week 8 not having as many upsets across the board to send aspiring survivors packing, especially when compared to Week 7’s total bloodbath. The likes of the Patriots and the 49ers won their respective divisional battles as road favorites, while the Cowboys and Vikings each picked up their sixth victory of the season and saved several survivors from elimination this past week as well. That being said, we’re glad to announce that only a total of two players have been eliminated from contention in Week 8 across all eight of Nitrobetting’s buy-in pools; one in the All Pro Pool and the other in the Draftee Pool. This is the first week this season that less than 20 percent of the entire survivor population was eliminated in a week. Now’s not the time to rest easy, though, as there’s there an entire half of the 2022 NFL regular season left to play. Do note as well that all but one of the eight Nitro NFL Survivor buy-in pools are down to single-digit survivor counts except for the 15 strong at the Prospect Pool. NFL Survivor Picks for Week 9
Those who held out this long to lock in the Eagles, Bills, and Chiefs may very well be rewarded with a surefire win in Week 9 with each of these top playoff contenders being double-digit favorites to win their respective games this coming week Philly continues to have a spectacular season being the only undefeated team in the league. In turn, the Eagles should cruise to another victory as (-13.5) road favorites against the one-win Texans in Houston on Thursday night. Josh Allen and the Bills have won four straight against their division rivals the Jets, which makes Buffalo a (-11) favorite to win in The Meadowlands and another easy survivor lock in Week 9. Kansas City, on the other hand, and despite being a (-12) home favorite this week, might be a risky play going up against the similar 5-and-2 Titans. Ryan Tannehill and Derrick Henry were both limited in practice Wednesday with both of Tennessee’s stars on offense nursing injuries. But should Tannehill or Henry be able to start in Week 9, the Chiefs could be in for a close battle.
