Quarterback

Deshaun Watson – Browns

  • Pct. Owned: 28.2%

Cleveland has lost four of its last five games and needs any boost of sorts to stay in the playoff hunt. However, it won’t be until Week 13 when the team will receive its best reinforcement in the form of Deshaun Watson.

Watson will be eligible to practice in the Browns’ facility this week, which is a good sign for fantasy managers in need of a “Hail Mary” play at the QB position. Watson is available in roughly three-fourths of fantasy leagues right now and should warrant consideration as a stash even with his possible season debut still a couple of weeks away. The upside is simply too high for the three-time Pro Bowl selection to remain on the waiver wires for long.

Running Back

Latavius Murray – Broncos

  • Pct. Owned: 25.4%

Nothing’s going right in Broncos Country as Russel Wilson and Co. have also lost four of their last five even after coming off their Week 9 bye. At least they have a decent running back option on the free market this week, particularly veteran running back Latavius Murray.

Murray’s numbers weren’t eye-popping in Week 10 (seven fantasy points in PPR leagues) but he’s split touches with incumbent starter Melvin Gordon in yet another outing. The former has been more dependable in the passing game compared to Gordon as well, which gives Murray some upside as a speculative flex start in deeper leagues. It’s also worth noting that newly-signed Chase Edmonds hasn’t gotten any confidence from Denver’s coaching staff just yet to give Murray more of a window to perform in next week’s tasty clash against the similarly struggling Raiders. The Broncos are currently (-2.5) favorites to win at home against their fellow division rivals.

Rachaad White – Buccaneers

  • Pct. Owned: 24.4%

Did the Buccaneers finally discover the solution to their running game woes? Rookie running back Rachaad White saw more snaps than Leonard Fournette for a chance and, to Tampa Bay’s delight, got 105 rushing yards on 22 carries from the team’s third-round selection out of Arizona State.

Fournette suffered a hip injury late in the Week 10 game in Germany, which further boosts White’s fantasy value. One word of warning, though; the Bucs are on a bye in Week 11, which means Fournette may be in better shape come Week 12. Nevertheless, White is a feasible stash in deeper fantasy leagues, especially considering a couple of favorable matchups ahead against the Browns and the Saints.

Wide Receiver

Parris Campbell – Colts

  • Pct. Owned: 36.1%

The return of Matt Ryan under center is just good news across the board for Indianapolis’ skill-position players. Perhaps no Colts receiver benefits from Ryan’s return than Parris Campbell, who finished with nine targets for seven catches, 76 receiving yards, and a trip to the end zone in the win over the Raiders this past Sunday.

Campbell (and the rest of Indy’s offense) was virtually non-existent with backup QB Sam Ehlinger running the show in Weeks 8 through 9. In Campbell’s last three starts with Ryan as his play-caller, though, the former Ohio State standout has a total of 42 targets, 24 catches, 203 receiving yards, and three receiving TDs. That being said, Campbell could turn out to be a midseason fantasy gem if he keeps this production up for a reignited Colts squad.

Christian Watson – Packers

  • Pct. Owned: 5.8%

At long last, promising Green Bay rookie wideout Christian Watson had his breakout performance. Not only did the Packers manage to snap their five-game losing streak, but they did it on the strength of a three-touchdown outing for the four-time FCS national champion from North Dakota State.

Watson capped off his magnificent Week 10 performance with four catches for 107 receiving yards and the aforementioned scoring hat trick for a total of 32 fantasy points in PPR leagues. The Packers won’t be on a bye until Week 14 so there are three games before the bye wherein Watson can be called upon as a flex start. Grab him off of waivers before Green Bay hosts the Titans as (-3.0) favorites to win in Lambeau for the second-straight week this Thursday night.

Tight End

Foster Moreau – Raiders

  • Pct. Owned: 12.3%

The Raiders need all the help they can get from their ailing roster and it appears that backup tight end Foster Moreau is up to the task. Moreau had a decent Week 10 outing with three catches for 43 receiving yards and a touchdown as the stand-in for injured star tight end Darren Waller.

Waller was placed on injured reserve just this past week, meaning that Moreau will have a few more games to deliver in the starting TE role for a Las Vegas offense that often leans on its tight ends when defenses focus their attention on Davante Adams. Moreau is averaging five catches and a little under 40 yards in five games this season, which is a pretty stable floor for TE fantasy production, all things considered.
