On Sunday, the NASCAR Playoffs head to Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina for the 2023 Bank of America Roval 400. The race happens over the Charlotte Motor Speedway Road Course, which is the main reason a couple of Hendrick drivers, Chase Elliott and William Byron, are the opening odds chalks. Tyler Reddick is the third choice based on odds. The odds peg Kyle Larson and Michael McDowell as co-fourth choices.

2022 Bank of America ROVAL 400 Recap
Joe Gibbs Racing driver Christopher Bell took the checkered flag. Kevin Harvick and Kyle Busch finished second and third.
Kaulig Racing scored the fourth and fifth places. A.J. Allmendinger finished fourth, followed by Justin Hailey in fifth. The sixth through tenth place finishers were Chris Buescher, Bubba Wallace, Tyler Reddick, Chase Briscoe, and Austin Dillon.
Top Choice to Win the 2023 Bank of America ROVAL 400
William Byron is on fire. He scored a second place finish at the YellaWood 500, NASCAR’s last playoff race. Before the second at Talladega, William had won at Texas Motor Speedway.
Before winning in Texas, Byron had started third at Bristol Motor Speedway and had finished ninth. When it comes to this race, Byron hasn’t had great luck, finishing sixteenth.
But Byron has picked up his road course driving in 2023. So he’s got a big shot of scoring another checkered flag. If William does win, it will be his seventh of the season.
Second Choice to Win the 2023 Bank of America ROVAL 400
Allmendinger is a road course driving expert, which explains the 10-to-1 opening odds. For sure, A.J.’s going to have to pick it up.
Allmendinger finished twentieth in the last. Then in the race before, he finished twenty-ninth and at Bristol, A.J. finished thirtieth.
But in this last year, Allmendinger started sixteenth and moved his way up to seventh. He can get it done at decent odds. So if you believe, go for it.
Third Choice to Win the 2023 Bank of America ROVAL 400
Kyle has had a string of twenty or worse finishes, twentieth at Bristol, twenty-fourth at Texas, and twenty-fifth at Talladega, which explains why he’s offering 16-to-1 odds to win the Bank of America Roval 400.
But although Busch has had a string of bad finishes, he has decent success over the road course at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Last year, Kyle finished third behind Harvick and Bell.
So there’s a chance Busch puts it together on Sunday. If he does, the +1600 odds will provide a payout that’s more than fair to Kyle’s backers.
Top Underdog to Win the 2023 Bank of America ROVAL 400
At +2800, Joey is an overlay. Logano secured the pole position at the 2022 Bank of America Roval 400. Although Joey ended up falling to eighteenth, he still proved that he knows how to drive over the track.
Logano should be due for some luck. The form isn’t up to snuff, thirty-fourth at Bristol, twenty- first at Texas, and twenty-fourth at the YellaWood 500, but Logano is too good of a driver, and his crew is too talented, to continue the bad finishes. Don’t be surprised if Joey crosses the finish line first.
