Top Candidates for the 2023 NBA Draft
Karl-Anthony Towns
Golden State requires more size in their lineup and KAT could be the man to fill that position. A trade that sends the 2015 NBA Draft’s first overall pick to the Dubs gets a package that includes Jonathan Kuminga, Patrick Baldwin Jr., Jordan Poole, and the No. 19 overall pick. Veteran point guard Chris Paul is likely to receive a full salary guarantee from the Phoenix Suns for the 2023-24 season. But, reports say that the deal is likely to happen and is not 100% assured. This forges a few outlines for the 38-year-old, which includes several landing spots such as the Los Angeles Lakers, San Antonio Spurs, and his former team, the Los Angeles Clippers.
A deal could involve Laker guard D’Angelo Russell agreeing to a sign-and-trade deal, which sends Paul to join his long-time friend LeBron James and form a trio alongside Anthony Davis. There’s reason to believe that the seasoned guard could restore natural order at the franchise and keep their championship hopes up.
Other rumors suggest that a Paul move to the San Antonio Spurs could yield positive results for upcoming NBA rookie Victor Wembanyama. His experience could provide great building blocks for the 2023 NBA Draft phenom.
Of course, a return to the Los Angeles Clippers is also a nice thought for many. Several reports say that the franchise flagged their former starting guard as they have offers for Westbrook they may not want to keep up with.

One of the biggest problems Dallas faced this season was declining defensive efficiency. Their numbers dropped from seventh to 25th late into the regular season. Turner may not have all the answers to their defensive woes, but his presence could lead the first few steps. The two-time blocks champion would be a tremendous asset on the back line.
Dallas Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd couldn’t find a reliable big man all season and they need someone to take on that role. Having a dependable big man means there’s less pressure for middle pieces like Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving. With that, they can find an offensive rhythm and cover defensive lapses for a more complete lineup.
