His first Daytona appearance of the year also saw him cross the line second after starting from fourth. Although his performance dropped during the February 19 race in Daytona where he finished 23rd from sixth, he quickly bounced back in Las Vegas where he finished sixth from ninth place.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr.

The 35-year-old driver currently sits 12th in the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series standings. In four races, he penned a win, one top-five appearance, one top-ten appearance, and a pair of top-20s. He also holds an average start of 16.3 and an improved average finish of 12.3 with ten laps led since the start of the season. His February record this year displays a positive trend that makes him a proper darkhorse pick moving forward.

The JTG Daugherty Racing driver logged his best performance so far at Daytona, where he crossed the line first after starting in 31st place. With lots of experience throughout his Cup Series career, the Mississippi-born driver gets the sleeper not this weekend. Since joining the top-flight class over 12 years ago, the driver claimed three wins, 46 top-ten finishes, and three poles. His recent Daytona 500 victory means he has plenty of momentum early into the season as well.
