2024 AdventHealth 400 NASCAR Odds & Prediction

By Hank Blaine

On Sunday, Joe Gibbs driver Denny Hamlin hopes to make it two in a row. Last weekend, Hamlin took the checkered flag in the Wurth 400 at Dover Motor Speedway. This Sunday, Denny heads to Kansas Speedway for the AdventHealth 400. Hamlin, even though he’s scorching the tires, isn’t the favorite. The Joe Gibbs driver is second choice at +450 while Hendrick driver Kyla Larson is the +425 favorite. Did either make our list of drivers that should be on your radar?

Top Choice to Win the 2024 AdventHealth 400

If not for an accident at Dover, William Byron likely would have notched another top ten finish. In 11 races this season, the Hendrick Motorsports driver has recorded 7 finishes in the top ten.

He’s scored 4 top fives and 3 wins. What it tells us is that if Byron finds a way to get into the top five, the likelihood of him winning the race goes up big time.

Last year, William won the AdventHealth 400 pole. Another top start is almost assured to put Byron in the top five, which means a win is a real possibility. At almost double the odds of teammate Kyle Larson, William Byron is this week’s top pick to cross the finish line first.

Second Choice to Win the 2024 AdventHealth 400

Denny Hamlin is on fire. The defending champion led 136 of 400 laps at Dover. Although it was Hamlin’s first win since Richmond, he’s for sure put the thirtieth at Texas and the crash at Talladega in the rearview mirror.

Denny beat out Larson and William Byron, who finished third, to take the 2023 AdventHealth. No doubt, more money will land on Hamlin the closer we get to the race. That’s the issue because the odds are awfully low. If you don’t mind the odds, his chances to win a second straight are legit. So pull the trigger.

Third Choice to Win the 2024 AdventHealth 400

Last year, Tyler Reddick finished ninth at the AdventHealth 400. The 23XI driver is in great form. Reddick shows a fifth at the Circuit of the Americas, a tenth at Richmond, seventh at Martinsville, and fourth at Texas.

Reddick won at Talladega. The eleventh is Tyler’s worst finish since a thirtieth at Bristol six races ago. Tyler warrants a serious look to get it done.

Top Underdog to Win the 2024 AdventHealth 400

Kyle Busch had no shot in this last year, which might explain why Kyle’s odds are at +2500. But the Richard Childress driver comes off a terrific performance at Dover.

Not only did Busch finish fourth, but he won the pole. A similar effort will get him close to the checkered flag. So at the odds, Kyle Busch deserves a look at this Sunday’s top underdog pick.
