2024 Cook Out 400 NASCAR Odds & Prediction
The chalk got it done in NASCAR’s last event. Joe Gibbs driver Denny Hamlin stepped into his ride a solid +450 chalk. All Hamlin did was win the race at those low odds. On Sunday, Hamlin is again a +450 favorite. Will Hamlin make it two straight NASCAR victories? If not Hamlin, which driver’s project to get it done on Sunday?

Top Choice to Win the 2024 Cook Out 400
Christopher Bell has showed why he’s become one of NASCAR’s top drivers since Phoenix. Bell won in Phoenix. He followed up the victory with a tenth at Bristol.
Then at the Circuit of the Americas, Bell almost pulled off another victory, finishing second. The sixth at Richmond last Sunday was an eye-opener because Bell started the race twenty-ninth. Christopher and his crew made their way into the top ten.
Last year, Bell qualified twenty-ninth and finished twentieth. If Bell starts in a prime position on Sunday, his odds may drop. So if you like Christopher the way we do, bet on Bell early in case he dominates Friday’s qualifiers.
Second Choice to Win the 2024 Cook Out 400
Kyle Larson finished nineteenth in this last season, which begs the question, why is Larson the second choice? The answer is because Larson has torn up the track in 2024.
Kyle won in Las Vegas, finished fifth at Bristol and then last week, almost pulled off another victory. Larson’s third place finish was nice. But Kyle had won the pole. So he and his crew expected to grab the checkered flag.
Expect Larson to put in a massive effort on Sunday. Kyle is again Hendrick’s top driver. So Larson will step on the pedal during qualifying and in Sunday’s race.
Third Choice to Win the 2024 Cook Out 400
Since 3 straight top 5 finishes at Atlanta, Las Vegas, and Phoenix, Ryan Blaney hasn’t crossed the finish line in the top 10 in the last three races.
Blaney finished sixteenth at Bristol, twelfth at the Circuit of the Americas, and nineteenth at Richmond. So why did Blaney make the list? He and his crew are too good to continue the lack of impressive finishes. Blaney is the defending Cup champ. Eventually, he gets on track.
Top Underdog to Win the 2024 Cook Out 400
Rookie Josh Berry has zero finishes in the top 10 so far this NASCAR season. Ah, but in two of the last three races, he’s come close. At Bristol, Berry started second and then finished twelfth.
Although the Bristol performance impressed, it wasn’t close to being as impressive as the performance Josh gave at Richmond. Berry started thirtieth, way behind the field, but managed to make his way to eleventh.
The rookie could be on the verge of a victory. Finding legit long shots in a NASCAR race has become tough. Berry is as legit as it gets for the Cook Out 400. Pull the trigger if you believe.
