Top Choice to Win the 2024 EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix
Not counting the Clash, Kyle Busch’s lone top five finish this season happened at Atlanta Motor Speedway, where he crosse the line in third. Since then, the finishes have left much to be desired. In fact, Busch hasn’t cracked the top 20 since Atlanta. Things should change this weekend. Kyle excels over this course.
In 2023, Busch finished second to Tyler Reddick after starting the race in ninth. Drivers that are good at navigating the turns in the EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix have a massive edge. So at the 16-to-1 odds, Busch, for sure, is one to consider to pop the bottle of champagne.
Second Choice to Win the 2024 EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix
Byron finished fifth in this last season. The Hendrick Motor Sports driver qualified first and won the first stage. Byron couldn’t hold off Reddick last year. He could this year if he continues to drive the way he has been.
Although Byron had a horrible Food City 400, William finished thirty-fifth without an incident, few drivers put the pats behind them the way William Byron does. Byron won the Daytona 500 and, before the finish in the Food City, had clocked three straight finishes of eighteenth or better. A bounce back can happen.
Third Choice to Win the 2024 EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix
The chalk took the 2023 EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix, which is the reason Tyler Reddick is such a low-priced favorite to repeat.
Reddick’s form this season doesn’t matter much when handicapping this event. The reason is that no matter that Reddick finished thirtieth in the Food City. The EchoPark is so different from a traditional NASCAR race that we must throw out past performances when handicapping Tyler.
Simply put, Reddick excels over GP courses. He will finish in the top 5 on Sunday. So if you don’t mind the odds, pulling the trigger on the chalk makes sense.
Top Underdog to Win the 2024 EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix
In last year’s event, Blaney finished twenty first. The defending NASCAR Cup Champion doesn’t always produce his best over grand prix courses.
Still, Blaney is one of the top drivers on the NASCAR circuit. So it’s a matter of time before he masters the GP runs. The current odds make it difficult to find a legit underdog that deserves backing. Why not take a swing on a driver we know always shows up? With some luck, Blaney could win, and we can’t argue against with the odds.
