2024 Food City 500 NASCAR Odds & Prediction
Christopher Bell heads to Bristol Motor Speedway in Tennessee on Sunday, hoping to repeat as Food city 500 champ and win back-to-back events. Last Sunday, Bell took the checkered flag in Phoenix. The Joe Gibbs driver is a co-second choice with fellow Gibbs racer Denny Hamlin. The chalk in this weekend’s NASCAR event is Kyle Larson at +400. Which drivers should be on your radar to get it done?

Top Choice to Win the 2024 Food City 500
For the first time since 2020, the Food City 500 will run over the concrete oval at Bristol. Because of that, it makes sense to go with a price as the top choice.
Defending Cup champion Ryan Blaney has yet to get it going this season. By yet to get it going, we mean Blaney hasn’t scored a victory yet.
He has been driving lights out, though, finishing second at Atlanta, third at Las Vegas, and fifth last Sunday in Phoenix. The return to the concrete oval will only help the cause, and it’s a matter of time before Ryan starts taking home checkered flags. Give Blaney a massive shot to outdrive the 11-to-1 odds.
Second Choice to Win the 2024 Food City 500
Hamlin is the choice over Bell. Because although Christopher is the defending Food City 500 champion, Hamlin, who finished eleventh last week at Phoenix, should excel over the concrete.
Hamlin won the pole at Phoenix. In Las Vegas, Denny started twenty-eighth and drove well enough to score an eighth place finish. He and his crew are making smart moves that should lead to a top five finish in this.
With some luck, Denny could get the win, but the odds are light. So he’s tough to endorse on top.
Third Choice to Win the 2024 Food City 500
We’d prefer higher odds on Keselowski. But low odds are the norm for this weekend’s race. If you believe, pull the trigger.
Keselowski finished fourth in Phoenix last Sunday. The fourth place finish came after a decent thirteenth in Vegas, which means Brad is trending higher.
The last time NASCAR ran the Food City 500 over the concrete oval, Keselowski popped the champagne. So for sure, he’s got a shot.
Top Underdog to Win the 2024 Food City 500
When is Chase Elliott going to start winning races again? That’s the question on everybody’s mind. Elliott suffered an injury and a suspension last season. Larson has become Hendrick’s go-to driver.
Elliott and his crew remain one of the best tandems in NASCAR, though. Also, although Chase has yet to finish in the top 10 in a meaningful race yet this year, he also hasn’t finished outside the top 20 in a meaningful race. Give Elliott the nod if you want to back an underdog.
