Akshay Bhatia offers decent odds, considering he’s made the cut in four straight. Not only that, but in the last four, Bhatia has gotten better with each tournament.

The 22-year-old rising golf star finished sixtieth at the RBC, twenty-second at the Memorial, sixteenth at the U.S. Open, and fifth at the Travelers. The Travelers performance was exceptional. Bhatia scored two rounds of 64 and a round of 65. He finished with a 69 on the fourth day. Akshay is sitting on a win.

The world’s sixteenth ranked golfer finished a decent twenty-sixth at the U.S. Open. At the RBC Canadian Open, the tournament before the U.S. Open, Tom Kim finished fourth.

Last week at the Travelers, Kim played well enough to finish a tied second. The 62-65-65-66 Kim posted at the Travelers was second only to Scottie Scheffler. Kim is riding high after hanging with the world’s top golfer. So we should expect another fantastic performance. The odds difference between Kim and Bhatia makes Akshay the top play, but it’s difficult to argue if you believe Kim gets it done.
