Cincinnati vs. Utah
- When: Saturday, November 1st. 10:15 p.m. ET

Utah opened as a -6.5 favorite and has fallen to -7.5 chalk in a matter of hours. The belief in Utah is tremendous, but it’s unfounded. Utah is a good team and has the edge, but let’s not get crazy.
Cincinnati blasted Baylor 41-20 in their last. The Bearcats’ QB, Brendan Sorsby, threw 2 TDs and ran for another score. Cincy is 7-1 with the lone loss coming against Nebraska in Week 1. The Bearcats are a legit Big 12 contender. Take the points.

Penn State vs. Ohio State

This has he makings of a blowout Ohio State victory. At the beginning of the season, most believed this game would be close. The preseason odds favored the Buckeyes by 3 points because the game is in Columbus, but many thought the Nittany Lions would challenge for the National Championship.
Not so. With every passing week, the Penn State program becomes a shell of its former self. Ridding themselves of James Franlkin was a nice move. It’s not enough, though. The Buckeyes roll.

Duke vs. Clemson

Man, the college football betting market and oddsmakers sure love Dabo Swinney. After losing to SMU in College Football Week 9, at home in Death Valley, the oddsmakers make Clemson a 3.5-point favorite versus a Duke team that hung with undefeated Georgia Tech.
Clemson isn’t good. The team can do nothing right, and Swinney can’t coach or recruit in the NIL era. The Tigers could lose this one straight up. If they do manage a victory, covering will be difficult because of the hook.

Vanderbilt vs. Texas

I’m not even fooling around with the spread in this one. The vaunted Texas defense allowed Mississippi State, one of the worst teams in the SEC, to score 38 points, and the Horns had to rally to beat the Bulldogs in OT.
On Saturday, the Longhorns host Diego Pava and the Vandy Commodores, who shut down Mizzou’s offense in a defensive 17-10 struggle. Vanderbilt proved they can win a game with their defense. This Saturday, they exploit Manning-less Texas with a possible blowout win.

Michigan State vs. Minnesota

Michigan State somewhat hangs with overrated rival Michigan, and Minnesota gets blown out by underrated Iowa on the road —so the Gophers are only -4.5 home faves versus Sparty? The odds make Minny an overlay for sure because MSU is a disaster of a team and even worse on the road.
There’s no way the Gophers bounce back in this after the Hawkeyes drubbed them 41-3. They should beat Sparty by at least 10. Don’t be surprised if the margin of victory is 14 points or more.

Indiana vs. Maryland

Maryland is in for a bad loss. The Terrapins aren’t good enough to hang with the most complete team in college football, yes, more full than the Ohio State Buckeyes. Indiana blasted UCLA by 50 in their Week 9 victory.
Maryland lost to the Bruins a couple of weeks ago. Sure, home field means something. It doesn’t mean this much. Fernando Mendoza dominates. The Indiana defense holds Maryland to 17 points or less, and the Hoosiers roll to another cover victory.
