Playoff Jimmy, Steph, and the Warriors Surge into the NBA Playoffs

No team appears as hot as Jimmy B., Steph Curry, and the Golden State Warriors. Butler found a new home after a less-than-content parting of ways with the Miami Heat. His new home is The City in Northern California, where Curry and the Warriors once dominated the NBA landscape.

Butler has been sensational in helping Steph and Draymond Green to a 14-6 record down the stretch. The Warriors drew the 2-seed Houston Rockets. Don’t be surprised if Jimmy, Steph, and Draymond bounce the Rockets in the first round.

Celtics Looking to Overtake the Cavs in the NBA Postseason

All season long, the Cavaliers have held a lead over the Celtics. The odds are telling us that things will change in the playoffs.

Boston is the hands-down chalk to repeat as Eastern Conference Champs. Their odds are as close to Oklahoma City’s as possible. The Cs will step it up in the postseason. Also, the East doesn’t boast as many solid squads as the West. So Boston should have no trouble at least making it to the conference finals.

2025 NBA Finals Picks

Boston Celtics

No team has scored a repeat in MLB since the New York Yankees at the start of the 2000s. Kansas City broke a back-to-back Super Bowl drought in 2023 and 2024.

But in the NBA, repeat winners happen all the time. The Boston Celtics continue to boast the best starting five in the league and have a couple of superstars, such as Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum, who can ball. Beating a squad like the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Finals won’t be easy, but the Cs get it done.

Oklahoma City Thunder

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander will win the NBA MVP. He should. The man is unstoppable, and his defense is much better than many believe. When great scorers like Shai and MJ have this issue and light it up every night, people tend to forget how great they are on the other end of the court.

SGA has those MJ qualities. He’s also surrounded by ridiculous talent, including Chet Holmgren, who averages 9 boards, 2 assists, and close to 16 points while playing power forward. Holmgren and SGA will push the Cs, but Boston’s NBA Finals experience should be what gets them the trophy.

Golden State Warriors

It’s tough not to be pumped if you’re a Golden State Warriors fan. Jimmy B has seamlessly blended with the Warriors’ other four starters. Jimmy has been on the same page with Draymond Green and Steph Curry since Day 1.

The Houston Rockets simply don’t have enough firepower to compete with the Warriors’ three best players. Those three players are good enough to send OKC packing in the Western Conference Finals. So, if you think they can get past the Thunder and the Celtics, consider backing GS at 19-to-1.

Denver Nuggets

Sure, the Nuggets ditched their head coach and GM right before the playoffs. But this is the NBA, where players who have been on the court together for a long time—Aaron Gordon, Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray, and Michael Porter Jr. qualify as having played together for a long time—don’t require much coaching.

Jokic will be the coach on the floor, and Murray, Porter, and Gordon will also contribute. The real thing about the Nuggets is that by getting rid of their coach, they made the starting five happy, and that’s the key. A happy Jokic means the team will fly in the postseason. The odds are ridiculously overlaid for a former champ who could turn it on once the playoffs start.
