Dallas Mavericks vs. Houston Rockets

When: Monday, November 3rd. 8:00 p.m. ET
NBA Week 3 Odds: Mavericks +480 / Rockets -1000

Flagg is starting to play like a top draft pick. But Dallas, overall, just isn’t as good as the Houston Rockets. Not only that, but KD is going to want to school young Cooper in the ways of NBA stardom.

The Rockets shouldn’t have much trouble covering the spread in a game, like most this season, that’s almost assured to go over.

Philadelphia 76ers vs. Chicago Bulls

When: Tuesday, November 4th. 8:00 p.m. ET

Luka scored 40 or more points in his first three games of the season. The only other player to do that is a man named Wilt Chamberlain. So, yeah, Doncic is in rare air.

Still, it’s tough seeing the Lakers winning this game straight up. Unless Victor Wembanyama gets hurt, the mighty San Antonio Spurs should continue to win games. The points differential is 19 between the Spurs and their opponents. Wemby is averaging about five blocks a game, and he can go out and guard the perimeter. So don’t expect Doncic to score 40 in this one.

Golden State Warriors vs. Denver Nuggets

When: Friday, November 7th. 10:00 p.m. ET

Jimmy B and Steph Curry versus Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray? Sounds like one of the best games of the week. It’s not.

The Warriors are 4-3 heading into November 2 after losing two straight to the Bucks and Pacers. Both losses came on the road. In fact, save for beating LA at SoFi in their first game, the Warriors are 1-2 SU on the road. Denver is good at home. So the Nuggets cover.

Phoenix Suns vs. LA Clippers

When: Saturday, November 8th. 10:30 p.m. ET

The Suns got their first win of the season on Halloween, dominating the Utah Jazz. Don’t expect the Suns to go on a winning streak or even win a game this week.

Phoenix’s roster doesn’t stack up in this matchup. The Suns have Devin Booker. The Clippers boast James Harden, Kawhi Leonard, and Derrick Jones Jr. The Clippers also have a homecourt advantage. LAC covers.

Boston Celtics vs. Orlando Magic

After starting the season with four losses in their first five games, the Magic have since won 2 straight, heading into their November 4 matchup versus the Atlanta Hawks.

What changed? Although Orlando hasn’t been shooting great this season, it’s their defense that has led to the victories. The Magic held the Hornets to 107 points and the Wizards to 94. Both wins came on the road. This Eastern Conference contender has gotten it together.
