O2 Blast vs. Seoul Inferno

• When: Saturday, July 22, 2023

O2 Blast, the likely underdog, heads into this after 3 straight losses. But before 2 straight losses to Dallas Fuel and a loss to Guangzhou Charge, O2 had won 2 straight over Shanghai Dragons and Panthera.

Seoul Inferno is on a 2-match winning streak. Before the wins, Inferno had lost to Houston and Florida. Ah, but Seoul beat Dallas 4-0 on June 4. The Inferno outclasses O2.

Guangzhou Charge vs. Panthera

• When: Saturday, July 22, 2023

Panthera has won a single match in their last 5. Panthera beat Sin Prisa Gaming 3-0 on May 27. Since the victory, Panthera has lost 3 straight versus O2, Seoul Dynasty, and Dreamers.

Guangzhou Charge has won 2-of-5 versus Poker Face and O2. 2 of the 3 losses came against Hangzhou Spark. Guangzhou gets the win.

Boston Uprising vs. Florida Mayhem

Boston has won 3-of-4. New England Patriots’ owner Robert Kraft’s squad is on a 2-match winning streak with victories over Houston and Vegas.

Florida Mayhem is also on a 2-match winning streak with victories over Houston and Vancouver. The Mayhem appears to have turned around their form. Backing Florida makes sense.

Dallas Fuel vs. Dreamers

• When: Sunday, July 23, 2023

The Fuel are on a 2-match winning streak with wins against Poker Face and O2. So Dallas could win this, but they are up against a seriously talented squad in Dreamers.

Dreamers has won 4-of-5 Dreamers’ lone loss in the last 5 came versus Hangzhou Spark. Other than falling to Hangzhou, Dreamers has rolled through their competition. The Dreamers get another victory.

London Spitfire vs. Los Angeles Valiant

• When: Sunday, July 23, 2023

Spitfire has a single win in their last 5. It came in a 3-1 match versus Toronto Defiant. Not only that, but the win happened on May 27.

L.A. Valiant also has 1 win in their last 5. Valiant beat inter-city rival L.A. Gladiators on July 14. Valiant followed up the win with a 3-0 loss to Defiant. Losing to Toronto is not good. So although London isn’t a great Overwatch team, the Spitfire could get the win in this.

Atlanta Reign vs. Toronto Defiant

Toronto is playing lights out. Defiant has won 3-of-5, including taking their last 2 against Vancouver and L.A. Valiant.

But Atlanta is on a 5-match winning streak. Not only has the ATL Reign won 5 straight, but they’ve done it by losing just 3 games. Atlanta scores the win.
