Miami Heat 2022 Eastern Conference Finals Betting Keys
Miami is coming off a 99-90 series-winning victory over Philadelphia, clinching the series in six games. The Heat gets an extra day of rest leading up to the Eastern Conference Finals versus the Celtics. They also hope to get Kyle Lowry back for the series after he missed most of the second round due to a hamstring injury.
Nevertheless, they have a solid core team with Jimmy Butler leading the charge, accompanied by persistent players like Bam Adebayo, P.J. Tucker, and Max Strus. Gabe Vincent is expected to fill in should Lowry miss the first game. They also have a competent duo of shooters in Tyler Herro and Duncan Robinson to take some of the scoring load against the Celtics.
That said, Nitrobetting goes over the three keys for the Heat to win the 2022 Eastern Conference Finals against the Celtics.

A blazing hot Jimmy Butler
Jimmy Butler has been the administrator of the Heat on the floor. Although he logged subpar shooting numbers from downtown over the last few years, he still produces massive offensive games and headlines for the team during big moments. In the playoffs, Butler averaged 28.7 points per game with improved shooting numbers within the perimeter.
Two years ago, he had an underwhelming performance against Boston, but the Heat had three other names that averaged double-digits per game after winning the series in six games. Butler is possibly the biggest threat coming from the Heat’s lineup and we expect him to play a pivotal role in this series.
A solid supporting cast
Jimmy Butler is not the only talisman of the series. And while the Heat acquired Kyle Lowry and his services last summer to give Butler more breathing room in the backcourt, the veteran point guard only logged 56 minutes in Miami’s two losses against the Sixers. He is still dealing with a hamstring injury that could limit his playing time moving forward.
Nevertheless, the good news is that the Heat also features a reliable bench squad. This might boil down to a battle of depth, which adds to the excitement factor of the series. Bam Adebayo was terrific defensively as he helped contain Embiid and kept him out of the paint. Tucker was similarly influential on both ends of the floor with proactive defense and dependable offense.
A more productive Tyler Herro
Tyler Herro was the Heat’s best attacker during Miami’s 53-29 regular season. But, the 22-year-old has been inconsistent since entering the playoffs. He has been targeted on defense and failed to perform against better defenders that load upon him. His shooting numbers also dropped, falling 27.3% from deep in the postseason.
Some might say luck plays a huge part in the decline, but Miami needs him to step up this time around. If he returns to his regular-season form, Herro can deliver solid numbers for his side and help Butler and the rest of the crew overcome one of the best defensive teams in the league.
