Framber should do enough for Houston to stay in this game. Aiding the Houston will beat Seattle thesis is the fact that the Mariners have lost their last 3 games when Miller has climbed the hill. Then the Mariners fell 9-2 to Baltimore after Miller gave up 4 earned runs in 5 innings. Miller gave up 5 earned runs to the Yankees in a 7-3 Seattle loss. The bullpen in Seattle has become a liability, and the Mariners aren’t well enough to backstop the BP. Taking a swing on Valdez the Stros makes sense.
