Then the rest of the game we handicap and make picks for happen on Saturday, Feb. 25. The best matchup on Saturday shows the Texas Longhorns traveling to Baylor to take on the Bears. Providence Friars vs. UConn Huskies

When: Wednesday, February 22nd, 2023. 6:30pm EST.
Where: Gampel Pavilion, Storrs, CT

Since a tough road loss to St. John’s, Providence has since started to play great ball, winning two straight. One of the victories was a 94-86 overtime win against Creighton. The other came in a smashing victory over rival Villanova.

The two wins were at home. On Wednesday, Providence travels to Connecticut to take on the Huskies. Providence beat UConn 73-61 in the last head-to-head. The change of venues, the Huskies are the home team, should make the difference. UConn wins and covers.

Arkansas Razorbacks vs. Alabama Crimson Tide

When: Saturday, February 22nd, 2023. 2:00pm EST.
Where: Coleman Coliseum, Tuscaloosa, AL

Arkansas was on a 2-game losing streak before beating Florida 84-65 and covering as a -8.5 chalk in their last. The Razorbacks battle Georgia on Feb. 21 before this Saturday game.

Alabama has won 3-of-4 straight up and ATS. The lone loss came on the road against Tennessee. The Tide bounced back from the loss versus the Vols with a great 108-59 win against Georgia.

This happens in Bama, which should lead to an Alabama win and cover. The Crimson Tide build their 1-seed resume.

Texas Longhorns vs. Baylor Bears

When: Saturday, February 22nd, 2023. 2:00pm EST.
Where: Ferrell Center, Waco, TX

Texas heads into their Feb. 21 matchup versus Iowa State not playing their best ball. Sure, the Horns won their last, but Texas required overtime to get by Oklahoma as a 10.5 chalk.

On Feb. 18, Baylor lost to Kansas by 16 points. Before the loss to the Jayhawks, the Bears had rolled off four straight wins and covers. Whether Baylor loses their early week game or not, the Bears should beat Texas and win against the spread.

Arizona State Sun Devils vs. Arizona Wildcats

When: Saturday, February 22nd, 2023. 2:00pm EST.
Where: McKale Center, Tucson, AZ

After a rough patch, where ASU lost four straight to UCLA, USC, and the Washington schools, it looks like the Sun Devils are back on track. ASU has won 3-of-4. But not a single one of the wins came against a quality team.

Arizona bounced back from a loss to Stanford on Feb. 11 with a 16 point win against Utah on Feb. 16 and a 10 point win over Colorado on Feb. 18. The Wildcats get the SU and ATS victories.

Virginia Cavaliers vs. North Carolina Tar Heels

Where: Dean E. Smith Center, Chapel Hill, NC

Preseason chalk North Carolina faces a must win situation. The Tar Heels could miss the NCAA Touranament should they lose on Saturday. UNC is on a 2-game losing streak and has lost 5-of-6 from Feb. 1 to Feb. 19.

Virginia has won 4 straight. The Heels are playing so badly that although UVA is 0-2 ATS in their last 2 games before the start of this week, the Cavs are the pick to get the win and cover.

Indiana Hoosiers vs. Purdue Boilermakers

When: Saturday, February 22nd, 2023. 7:30pm EST.
Where: Mackey Arena, West Lafayette, IN

In this, Purdue will be looking for revenge. The Boilermakers lost the last matchup against Indiana straight up.

But although Purdue will be hoping for a win and cover, the Boilermakers are in bad form. Purdue lost 3-of-5 from Feb. 4 to Feb. 19.

Beating Ohio State on Feb. 19 is meaningless since the Buckeyes are horrible. The Hoosiers complete the regular season sweep.
