Marquette Golden Eagles vs. UConn Huskies
- When: Tuesday, February 7th, 2023. 6:30pm EST.
- Where: XL Center, Hartford, CT
Two of the Big East’s top squads clash on Tuesday night when UConn hosts Marquette. Connecticut beat rival Georgetown 68-62 in their last. The Huskies didn’t come close to covering as a -13 road chalk.
In fact, in their last 10 from Dec. 31 – Feb. 4, Connecticut has gone 3-7 ATS.
Marquette beat UConn 82-76 in the last head-to-head. Give the Golden Eagles the nod to cover.
NCAAB Betting Pick: Marquette Golden Eagles
Arkansas Razorbacks vs. Kentucky Wildcats
- When: Tuesday, February 7th, 2023. 9:00pm EST.
- Where: Rupp Arena, Lexington, KY
The Hogs and Wildcats will step onto the court in Lexington with the same 16-7 record. Arkansas is playing decent ball, going 4-1 ATS in their last 5.
The Razorbacks are leaning on junior Ricky Council and freshman Anthony Black. Both players have started to pick it up.
But beating, or even competing, with Big Blue on the road won’t be easy. Coach Cal is starting to turn the screw. The Wildcats have gone 6-1 ATS in their last 7. The lone none cover was a non-conference tilt versus Kansas. Kentucky wins and covers.
NCAAB Betting Pick: Kentucky Wildcats
Florida Gators vs. Alabama Crimson Tide
- When: Wednesday, February 8th, 2023. 9:00pm EST.
- Where: Coleman Coliseum, Tuscaloosa, AL
Alabama is one of the top teams in the nation. But Bama doesn’t always cover spreads, going 13- 9-1 on the season.
Florida is 12-11 ATS this season. However, the Gators have gone 6-2 ATS in their last 8. There’s a good chance Bama offers an underlay spread line. Lean Florida to cover.
NCAAB Betting Pick: Florida Gators
Iowa Hawkeyes vs. Purdue Boilermakers
- When: Thursday, February 9th, 2023. 7:00pm EST.
- Where: Mackey Arena, West Lafayette, IN
The Associated Press kept Purdue number 1 this week even though the Boilermakers lost to Indiana over the weekend. But no matter if Purdue is number 1 or not, the fact is that the Boilers aren’t the best at covering spreads.
Purdue is 10-12-2 ATS this season. Iowa is 14-9 against the spread overall and 7-2 ATS in their last 9. The Hawkeyes cover.
NCAAB Betting Pick: Iowa Hawkeyes
Clemson Tigers vs. North Carolina Tar Heels
- When: Saturday, February 11th, 2023. 2:00pm EST.
- Where: Dean E. Smith Center, Chapel Hill, NC
On paper, the Tigers should win and cover. But Clemson is the better covering team, going 12-12 on the season.
Still, the Tigers head into the week off a pair of SU and ATS losses: 54-62 versus Boston College, and 74-78 against Miami. North Carolina has also lost 2 straight SU and ATS. The Heels are 7-15-1 against the spread this season, which is why Clemson will be the team to back to cover the spread line.
NCAAB Betting Pick: Iowa Hawkeyes
