Virginia Cavaliers vs. Michigan Wolverines

• When: Tuesday, November 29th, 2022. 9:30pm EST.
• Where: Crisler Center, Ann Arbor, MI

Things appear way more settled at Michigan this season then they were last season, which is why the Wolverines are 5-1 straight up.

But although Michigan is winning, the hoops Maize & Blue are struggling to cover spreads. The Wolverines are just 2-4 ATS in their six games. They even required overtime to beat the Ohio Bobcats.

Virginia has rocked it so far this season. The Cavaliers average over 78 points per while allowing less than 58 each game. Tony Bennett’s squad croons their way to a nice road win and cover.

Ohio State Buckeyes vs. Duke Blue Devils

• When: Wednesday, November 30th, 2022. 7:15pm EST.
• Where: Cameron Indoor Stadium, Durham, NC

Duke is not the same team as they were from last season. That’s apparent after slow but massive Zach Edey led the Purdue Boilermakers to a 75-56 dominating win over the Dookies.

The Blue Devils do have a decent upper classman guard in Jeremy Roach. After losing to San Diego State, Ohio State has bounced back with two impressive wins over Cincinnati and Texas Tech. Still, it’s hard to back a team to cover versus Duke at Cameron. Duke scores the SU and ATS victories.

Creighton Blue Jays vs. Texas Longhorns

• When: Thursday, December 1st, 2022. 7:00pm EST.
• Where: Moody Center, Austin, TX

Blue Jays at Longhorns should be a terrific game. Texas dominated Gonzaga by 19 points. So the Horns are legit. But although Texas is 5-0 SU, the Longhorns are just 3-2 against the spread.

Creighton is 4-0 against the spread in their last 4. Even though they fell to the Arizona Wildcats in the Maui Jim Invitational Championship, the Jays still managed to cover. Creighton covers even if the Horns win straight up.

Baylor Bears vs. Gonzaga Bulldogs

• When: Friday, December 2nd, 2022. 8:00pm EST.
• Where: Sanford Pentagon, Sioux Falls, SD

Baylor beat Gonzaga to win the 2021 NCCA Championship. So this is a rematch of the two final participants from that fantastic tournament.

The Zags have not played Gonzaga hoops yet this season. Gonzaga struggled versus Xavier on Sunday, pulling away in the final minute for an 88-84 victory.

Gonzaga is just 2-5 against the spread this season. Baylor is 3-3 ATS, but the lone SU loss came versus Virginia by 7 and the Bears have a win over UCLA. Baylor can win this straight up.

Illinois Illini vs. Maryland Terrapins

• When: Friday, December 2nd, 2022. 9:00pm EST.
• Where: XFINITY Center, College Park, MD

This game is a handicapping challenge. Both teams are excellent against the spread. Maryland has gone 5-1 ATS.

Illinois is 4-2 against the spread. The winner both straight up and versus the spread line could come down to which team shoots the three better. The Terps average 30% from behind the arc. The Illini average 37.7%. Illinois gets the nod.

St. Mary’s Gaels vs. Houston Cougars

• When: Saturday, December 3rd, 2022. 9:30pm EST.
• Where: Dickies Arena, Fort Worth, TX

St. Mary’s is a decent basketball team, but in their last, they couldn’t hold off Washington in overtime.

The Gaels struggled to get 64 points counting overtime. Houston allows 47.3 points per game on average from 29% shooting from the field.

That’s not a joke. Those are real Cougar defensive stats. Houston rolls the Gaels.
