Why Bet on the San Antonio Brahmas?

Justin Herbert leads an offense that has begun to use the rush more than it did earlier in the season. Herbert still throws for plenty of yards, but Staley knows that if the Bolts are to win in the playoffs, they must rush the football.

The Chargers rushed for 101 yards against the Colts two games back. Then in their last game, LAC rushed for 192 yards against the Rams.

The Bolts’ defense has gelled. The Chargers haven’t allowed more than 20 points in their last 4 games, all wins.

The Miami Dolphins scored 17 in a Bolts’ victory. Tennessee was good for 14. Indianapolis scored 3 and the Rams scored 10.

Many experts predicted the Orlando Guardians to be the worst team in the league, and they were mostly proven right after the Guardians were blown out in Week 1 by the Houston Roughnecks, 33-12.

Former first-round NFL draft pick Paxton Lynch was atrocious under center, but some of the blame could also be placed on Orlando’s offensive line that allowed a whopping seven sacks to the opposing team. Is it time for unheralded backup Quinten Dormady to get the start in Week 2? Dormady did throw the only Guardians touchdown in the second half and looked more composed than Lynch under center.

There are also some silver linings to be had from Orlando’s defense despite giving up over 30 points to the Roughnecks. The Guardians managed to pick off Houston twice in the third quarter and would’ve made it a closer contest had the offense not floundered these opportunities.

One can’t deny how much worse the Guardians looked in Week 1 than the Brahmas. If Orlando makes the move at starting Dormady at QB to reinvigorate the offense, then there might be the off chance that the Guardians can pull off the upset in front of their home crowd. Regardless of the outcome, the Brahmas should be in for a tight contest that they won’t likely be able to cover the current spread.
