Why is Wolverhampton a safe bet to win?
After a relatively slow start to the 2021/22 season, the Wolves are out to try and bounce back from their first loss. The team narrowly lost 1-0 away to Leicester City. It was a fairly close match against the Foxes, and they were even ahead on shots. When the final whistle set off, the Wolves recorded 17 shots, with three shots on target. They had 43% of the possession and had an 82% pass accuracy. But right before halftime, Jamy Vardy sneaked one in from a low swinging cross, catching the Wolves’ defense off guard.
The Wanderers are desperate to get their first win of the season with new manager Bruno Lage. Moreover, it would be great to see the team win against ex-Wolverhampton manager Nuno Espírito Santo on Sunday. As for the lineup, Jonny, Neto, and Podence won’t make their way to the list this weekend due to injury.
But, Mosquera, Bueno, Boly, and Otasowie could return in time to give the Wolves some much-needed energy. Raul Jimenez is anticipated to play the starting striker, with Adama and Trincao next to him. Last but not least, we’re all eager to see some Ruben Neves magic as he makes his way to the starting 11 this weekend.
Possible Line-Up
- Jose Sa
- Romain Swiss
- Conor Coady
- Max Kilman
- Marçal
- Joao Moutinho
- Ruben Neves
- Ki-Jana Hoever
- Adama Traore
- Raul Jimenez
- Francesco Trincao
Why is Tottenham a safe bet to win?
The Spurs escaped with a 1-0 victory over Manchester City this weekend thanks to an incredible performance by Son Heung-min, who scored the lone goal in the 55th minute. It was a difficult game for the team as they struggled to hold onto the ball, finishing the game with only 34% of the possession.
Nevertheless, the team pulled through and forced 13 shots, with 3 shots on target. H. Son started alongside Lucas and Bergwijn, who did well to provide him attacking support. Dele Alli and Oliver Skipp shined in the midfield for the Spurs, and they were important components of the win.
Harry Kane could make his return to the pitch this weekend, but it remains unclear until his transfer situation clears up. Other players that might make their way back include Sessegnon and Ndombele. With that, Tottenham can find more pace following a win last week and it’s exciting to see what other changes Nuno brought to the team since his introduction. We expect Tottenham to take the lead and control the offensive tempo from the get-go.
Possible Line-Up
- Hugo Lloris
- Japhet Tanganga
- Eric Dier
- Cristian Romero
- Sergio Reguilon
- Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg
- Tanguy Ndombele
- Harry Winks
- Steven Bergwijn
- Lucas Moura
- Son Heung-Min

Wolves vs. Tottenham Betting Prediction
With the help of their fans, the Wolves might just get away with a draw in this one. While the Spurs get the advantage due to their current form and positive momentum after winning their previous game, we have reason to believe that their opponents can cover the spread. It can be intimidating to play at the Molineux Stadium, and if the Wolves can take advantage of this while keeping composed, a win is not off the table here. However, if Tottenham does not put a foot wrong in this one, we might see the team’s second win of the season.
