Cameron Young

  • 2022 TOUR Championshipp Odds: +4,000

Back-to-back runner-up finishes at The Open and the Rocket Mortgage Classic still linger in the minds of golf fans when talking about rookie phenom Cameron Young’s impressive debut. The 25-year-old out of Scarborough racked up a total of five second-place finishes and a pair of T3 finishes as well to prove that he can hang with the big boys. This season, Young also ranks fourth in driving distance and sixth in birdie average, making him one of the more attractive sleeper candidates to win it all at East Lake this year to cap off his momentous introduction as a future PGA TOUR fixture.

Viktor Hovland

  • 2022 TOUR Championship Odds: +5,000

After a strong start to the season with a win and a runner-up finish between November and March, Viktor Hovland has since coasted through the season with mediocre results, save for a solid T4 finish at the British Open. On the other hand, the Norwegian standout is a perfect 3-for-3 in qualifying for the TOUR Championship and is even coming off a superb T4 showing in last year’s run of the event. Hovland is also as accurate as they come, with his 4.33 birdie average ranking eighth amongst all players this season.

Collin Morikawa

  • 2022 TOUR Championship Odds: +6,600

Although young golfing whiz Collin Morikawa has been inconsistent of late, to say the least, he’s certainly stepped up his game when the stage is at its brightest. The two-time major winner has a pair of T5 finishes in two other major tournaments this season, along with another T5 at the star-studded FedEx St. Jude Championship just a couple of weeks ago. Having a mere one-stroke handicap at the 2022 TOUR Championship as the 21st-best golfer in the FedExCup standings does slightly work against him, but Morikawa’s sweet sleeper price is still worth taking a shot at considering the immense potential he’s displayed since winning The PGA Championship in 2020 and The Open Championship just last season.
