Who Are the Favorites to Win the 2021 Buschy McBusch Race 400?

Kyle Larson

With just one win so far this season at the Pennzoil 400, Kyle Larson heads into the race as the top favorite. The reason for that is because he’s been the best driver with this week’s races, with three top fives, leading laps in all three of those and led the the most laps in two of those races. He’s coming in hot.

Denny Hamlin

Hamlin has won two of the last three races in Kansas and has three overall. He’s had top fives on two of those three races. Add to that eight top fives in 10 starts just this season alone, but he’s yet to take a victory in 2021. This just might be it.

Martin Truex Jr.

The two-time winner on the Kansas Speedway heads into this race with two wins this season, one in Phoenix and the other in Martinsville. He’s been only able to get one top-five in the 550 HP on a 1.5 at Homestead, leading 17 laps and finishing third. Though he hasn’t been very strong so far, his performance on the track could give him an extra leverage.

Who are the Dark Horses to Win the 2021 Buschy McBusch Race 400?

Chase Elliot

Even though he hasn’t had a great start at the 1.5 mile ovals this season, Elliot has had great performances at Kansas. He’s finished sixth or better in four of the last five races at that track, with a win and led 40 laps three times. He could bring some heat, doesn’t matter if he’s in the 17th starting spot.

Brad Keselowski

Starting from the pole this Sunday, Keselowski heads into the race with experience on this track. He’s finished second and fourth in two Kansas races last season and also took a victory in 2019. Though not the top favorite, just coming off his recent win at the Geico 500, he’s still one to keep your eyes on. He’ll probably be in the front all afternoon.

Alex Bowman

His performance at Kansas is quite good. He’s obtained five straight Top 11 results on the 1.5 mile track, plus a runner up in 2019. Also two top 10s in three races this season, winning 3rd place in Atlanta. He’ll be starting off on the 25th spot, but that probably won’t be a problem for Bowman.

Expert’s Prediction for the 2021 Buschy McBusch Race 400 NASCAR Cup Series Race

There’s plenty of experience that will be seen on Sunday. Many have their eyes on Martin Treux Jr. since he’s had more success with wins, But there hasn;t been a stable driver yet. It’s hard to say since every week has been so different. Check out pole positions as well, they can give you an idea who has a better edge to win.
