Quarterback

Cam Newton – Carolina Panthers

  • Pct. Owned: 12.6%

He’s baaack! Cam Newton made headlines once more after having a triumphant return to Carolina. The Panthers’ former face of the franchise made the most out of his limited snaps in Week 11, finding the end zone twice (once on the ground and the other through the air) on just seven touches of the ball.

The Panthers face a similarly reinvigorated Washington Football Team in Week 11, with the former being (+3) road underdogs. If we learned anything from Cam’s moment under the spotlight it’s that Carolina is better off with the former league MVP as its starting QB over P.J. Walker. Newton could have himself another explosive afternoon fantasy-wise if he’s already up to speed with his team’s offensive playbook.

Running Back

Rhamondre Stevenson – New England Patriot

  • Pct. Owned: 29.1%

It’s about time we stop ignoring the fact that Rhamondre Stevenson is the real deal over in Foxborough. This past Sunday, the fourth-round pick out of Oklahoma set new season-highs across the board with his 20 carries, 100 rushing yards, and two rushing TDs.

Stevenson has seen his touches increase in each of the past four weeks and remains relatively involved in the Pats’ passing game. His five targets in Week 11 is also a new season best, making him a solid flex start in deeper leagues regardless of the format.

D’Onta Foreman – Tennessee Titans

  • Pct. Owned: 1.6%

The injury to Derrick Henry has caused quite a conundrum for Tennessee’s ground attack. While many experts predicted that either Jeremy McNichols or Adrian Peterson will fill most of the void left by Henry, it’s actually been fourth-year back D’Onta Foreman who’s had the lion’s share of opportunities out of the bunch.

Foreman led the Titans with 11 carries in Week 11 for 39 rushing yards. While the numbers aren’t very impressive, the fact that the Texas product has seen more playing time than his two backfield mates over the past two weeks combined warrants enough fantasy consideration for the deepest of leagues in desperate need for an RB flex this week, especially with the Titans as (-10.5) favorites in Sunday’s homestand against the one-win Texans.

Wide Receiver

Elijah Moore – New York Jets

  • Pct. Owned: 38.1%

Although the Jets have regressed this past week, that’s not the case for their young wideout in Elijah Moore. The 21-year-old taken by New York in the second round of this year’s draft is slowly emerging as the team’s top receiving threat after finding the end zone for the second straight week.

Not only does Moore have three receiving TDs over his last two starts, but he also has seen no less than six targets in each of the past three games. Moore will be quickly snagged should he be found on the waiver wire this week and should demand top-dollar bids in FAB leagues.

Jamal Agnew – Jacksonville Jaguars

  • Pct. Owned: 9.4%

Multi-talented threat Jamal Angew displayed in Week 10 another dimension to his versatility. The speedy 26-year-old finished with 79 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown against the Colts this past week whilst still seeing five targets in Jacksonville’s receiving game and his usual snaps as a kick returner.

Agnew’s ceiling is certainly limited by the Jags’ questionable passing game. However, he does provide a nice floor of points production in PPR leagues, having double-digit performances in such formats in four of the last five weeks.

Tight End

Gerald Everett – Seattle Seahawks

  • Pct. Owned: 3.4%

The return of Russell Wilson from a finger injury turned out to be a total dud for the Seahawks, who were shut out by the Packers this past weekend. The silver lining to that loss, though, is that Gerald Everrett may just have become fantasy-relevant once again.

Everett hauled in all eight of his targets for 63 receiving yards in a day that Wilson was inaccurate throwing to his top options in D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett. The 27-year-old Georgia native has three double-digit fantasy outings in PPR leagues this season with Wilson under center. He’ll likely be a constant check-down option for the former Super Bowl champ this week as Russ slowly gets his groove back.
