With a wide selection of players to pick from, the event presents substantial winning opportunities for those who want to elevate their golf betting experience.

Who are the favorites to win the 2021 Travelers Championship?

Bryson DeChambeau

  • 2021 Travelers Championship Odds: +2500

Bryson performed well enough in the past few tournaments to put him as a favorite. The 2020 US Open winner finished inside the top 10 at this course in the last three seasons and recorded an improved 3.0 strokes or more in each of those appearances. We anticipate Bryson to utilize his driver, but slowly but surely he’s started to improve his short venue skills.

This was relevant at THE PLAYERS a few months ago on the TPC Sawgrass where he almost took home the win. Moreover, the 27-year-old American golfer ranks eighth in Strokes Gained: Putting on Poa/Bentgrass over the past 50 rounds.

Paul Casey

  • 2021 Travelers Championship Odds: +3300

The English golfer looks promising as he enters the 2021 PGA TOUR: Travelers Championship stage, recording good numbers in each of the past five seasons and leads the field in Strokes Gained: Total over that span. Casey has the edge in this layout as he’s gained over 5.0 strokes ball striking at TPC River Highlands in five of six appearances.

Although his win rate is not as prevalent as other favorites of the event, he’s produced some impressive numbers along the way. His last two PGA Tour starts including two top-10 finishes as well as a T7 last week at Torrey Pines where he shot seven-under on the weekend and held 15th in putts per GIR, boosting his winning chances this weekend.

Who are the sleepers in the 2021 Travelers Championship?

Talor Gooch

  • 2021 Travelers Championship Odds: +10000

Gooch has been a regular sleeper sighting this season, and this time around, he makes his way to the Travelers Championship list. The 29-year-old last took the spotlight at the AT&T Byron Nelson and finished the tournament T39. It’s within 17 cuts made in 23 starts this season. With three top 10 finishes and four top 20s, added to his last two starts, he finished 54th in the FedExCup.

Despite not winning any PGA Tour victories in his career, he lists down 93 starts and is currently in the fourth season of his run. He’s yet to win at the TPC River Highlands, but his balanced skillset makes us believe that he can accomplish a good run this time around.

Kyle Stanley

  • 2021 Travelers Championship Odds: +8000

Another name that makes its way to the sleeper selection is Kyle Stanley. Looking at his skills and achievements from a tee-to-green perspective, the American golfer is a good fit for TPC River Highlands. He ranks third in Strokes Gained: Approach and holds fifth in fairways gained in the last 12 hounds.

There are still points for improvement around the green, but that’s why he made his way to this side of the list. He can win if he holds pace with the field in Strokes Gained: Putting. It might be a long shot, but worth the risk is given his ball-striking.
