2021 Ambetter 301 Recap

In Nashville last Sunday, Kyle Busch underperformed. The Joe Gibbs driver finished twenty- first. But although the finish wasn’t great, it was an improvement off the thirtieth at Sonoma. Kyle and his crew are much better than what they’ve shown.

Before Sonoma, Busch had finished second at both Charlotte and the Worldwide Technology Raceway. Busch finished a decent third in this event last year. Kyle is worth a long look to right the ship and cross the finish line first on Sunday.

Top Choice to Win the 2022 Ambetter 301

It’s never fun to back chalk, but Ryan Blaney could be sitting on a win. The Team Penske driver finished fourth at World Wide Technology Raceway, sixth at Sonoma, third at Nashville, eleventh at Road America, and fifth at Atlanta.

Blaney has won 3 poles with 7 top five finishes this season. He has a total of 10 top ten finishes. Last year, Blaney finished fifth in this, ahead of Harvick and right behind Logano. The chalk is a good bet. The odds are low, but Blaney has a better chance of winning than Kyle Busch, Logano, Truex. Jr, or Hamlin.

Second Top Choice to Win the 2022 Ambetter 301

Chase Elliot is on fire. He finished eighth at Sonoma. Then he won at Nashville and finished second at Road America. At Atlanta Motor Speedway last Sunday, Elliott won again. Chase and his crew have been on point. So even though Elliott finished eighteenth at last year’s Ambetter 301, he can win on Sunday.

Also, the odds are great on the hottest driver on the NASCAR Cup circuit. Back Elliott over Blaney if you believe he wins back-to-back.

Third Top Choice to Win the 2022 Ambetter 301

TRACKHOUSE Racing’s top driver has come into his own this season. Ross Chastain ranks second on the NASCAR Cup Standings. Chase Elliott is in first place with 3 wins. Chastain is in second place with 2 wins. Ross could be due to pick up a victory.

He hasn’t won in the last 5 events even though he finished eighth at World Wide Technology Raceway, seventh at Sonoma, fifth at Nashville, fourth at Road America, and second at Atlanta. Give Ross Chastain a big shot to grab the checkered flag.

Top Underdog Choice to Win the 2022 Ambetter 301

In the past few weeks, Bell and his crew have had limited success. The twenty-seventh at Sonoma, eighteenth at Road America, and nineteenth at Atlanta aren’t great.

But the ninth at World Wide Technology Raceway and the eighth at Nashville were pretty good. Also, Bell finished second in this last year. Cristopher and his crew know New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Bell rates as the top underdog play to win the Ambetter 301.
