2021 NASCAR AutoTrader EchoPark Automotive 500 Recap

Kyle Larson, who also won the pole, crossed the finish line first. Larson held off Hendrick Motorsports teammate William Byron. Joe Gibbs driver Cristopher Bell finished third while Brad Keselowski crossed the line in fourth. Fifth place went to Kevin Harvick. Chase Elliott, who leads the Cup standings, finished seventh.

Top Choice to Win the 2022 AutoTrader EchoPark Automotive 500

Chase Elliott’s seventh at last year’s AutoTrader EchoPark Automotive 500 should give his backers confidence. Not only did Chase finally have a great race during the playoffs last Sunday, but he drove so well he leaped to the top of the standings.

Elliott finished second behind Chris Buescher. Chase doesn’t have to win, but he almost tasted victory in last week’s event, meaning he’ll go all out for another checkered flag on Sunday. At the odds, Elliott is more than playable.

Second Top Choice to Win the 2022 AutoTrader EchoPark Automotive 500

Gibbs Racing has decided Cristopher Bell is their future and Kyle Busch is their past. Bell has a real shot to win on Sunday because he knows this racetrack well. Christopher’s third place finish last season should give him confidence. Almost as important? Bell finished fourth at Bristol Motor Speedway.

The Gibbs driver knows he must make a move to move up from seventh. It’s still early in the NASCAR Playoffs, but if Bell can make his move now, it will be easier to hold off his competition.

Third Top Choice to Win the 2022 AutoTrader EchoPark Automotive 500

Kyle Larson revs his engine at Texas Motor Speedway on Sunday hoping to improve upon his fourth place standing. Only the top four can compete for the NASCAR Cup in the season’s final race. Being in fourth place at this point of the playoffs means nothing. So if Larson runs into trouble, he could drop out of the top ten.

Kyle should be okay. He finished fifth last week and won this race last year. Larson should clock another top five finish, but winning might be asking too much.

Top Underdog Choice to Win the 2022 AutoTrader EchoPark Automotive 500

Kevin Harvick has dropped out of the playoffs. But just because Kevin can’t win the NASCAR Cup, it doesn’t mean he can’t win this race. Harvick finished fifth last season. He finished tenth at Bristol last Sunday. If Kevin has some luck, he can drive into the winner’s circle.
