2021 NASCAR Go Bowling at The Glen Recap

Hendrick Motorsports grabbed first and second when Kyle Larson won the checkered flag and Chase Elliott finished behind Larson. Joe Gibbs Racing drivers made up the next three spots. Martin Truex Jr. finished third. Kyle Busch finished fourth and Denny Hamlin finished fifth. Sixth went to Hendrick driver William Byron. Gibbs driver Cristopher Bell finished seventh.

Top Choice to Win the 2022 Go Bowling at The Glen

Kyle Larson has just a single win this season. It happened in the third race of the year. Since then, Larson hasn’t taken a checkered flag. But he has driven well enough to secure eighth place on the Cup Standings. So Larson has been close.

More importantly, Kyle won this race last year. But there’s another reason to like Larson. The top choice offers much better odds than +500 Chase Elliott. Give Larson a big chance to repeat the 2021 victory at Watkins Glen.

Second Top Choice to Win the 2022 Go Bowling at The Glen

The favorite could easily cross the finish line first.Chase Elliott has won 3 poles and has won 4 races this season. No doubt, he can win racing over a track he loves. But the odds don’t justify putting Chase on top. Since the first place finish at Pocono, Elliott has clocked a sixteenth over the Indianapolis Road Course, a fifteenth at Michigan and a fifteenth at Richmond.

Elliott knows there are two more races before the NASCAR Cup Playoffs start on Sep. 4. The last thing Chase will want to to do is go all out to win a race knowing all he must do is play it safe to make the playoffs.

Third Top Choice to Win the 2022 Go Bowling at The Glen

Last week, Tyler Reddick bombed, finishing thirty-first at Richmond. Tyler should rive much better on Sunday. Reddick finished a decent tenth in this last year. Not only that, but Tyler’s 2 wins this year have happened over road courses.

Reddick has a big shot to finish in first place. So if you don’t like the two Hendrick drivers, consider backing Tyler.

Top Underdog Choice to Win the 2022 Go Bowling at The Glen

Christopher Bell finished second behind Kevin Harvick at Richmond. The Joe Gibbs driver led 31 laps. In this last year, Bell finished a decent seventh. Cristopher ranks ninth on the standings, which means unless he blows it, he should have a chance to win the NASCAR Cup.

Bell and his crew often perform well over road courses. If you’re looking for an underdog, Bell is a decent play.

At the 2021 Federated Auto Parts 400, Joey drove great, starting sixth and finishing fifth. The odds make Logano more than playable.
