2022 Nitro NFL Survivor Pools Week 15 Recap

Ask any NFL analyst and expert out there and the majority of them would agree that Week 15 of the 2022 NFL season was as wild and wacky of a week as it could get. From history-making comebacks to unlikely upsets, the action from this past week was enough to shake the foundations of our Nitro NFL Survivor Pools, which have been relatively dormant in terms of eliminations of late. So much so that we’ve just crowned another winner from one of our five remaining buy-in survivor pools.

Nitrobetting continues its season-long quest of delivering the best NFL survivor experience on the web with its Nitro NFL Survivor Pool contests with a total purse worth over 10.73 BTC (~$179,000) across eight unique survivor pools.

It was certainly a crazy week of football in Week 15 as the NFL Playoff picture is starting to take better shape. The Eagles, Chiefs, and Vikings nearly suffered massive upsets, but the same could not be said about the Cowboys. Dallas lost in overtime to lowly Jacksonville after the Jags turned an errant Dak Prescott pass into a pick-six to seal the unlikely win and also send several players in our buy-in survivor pools packing.

In turn, all but one of our five buy-in Nitro NFL Survivor Pools that began at the start of the regular season had someone get eliminated, with the All Pro Pool consisting of two surviving members being the only active survivor pool that saw now changes after this past week’s action. The pool that got hit the hardest was our Rookie Pool, which entered Week 15 with seven survivors but is now down to the final two survivors left standing.

On a more positive note, a sole survivor has also been crowned in our big-money Hall of Fame Pool. We’d like to congratulate Nitrobetting user ID 196928 for emerging as the lone survivor of said Hall of Fame Pool and will take home a massive 2.08 BTC (~$35,000) payout for putting up a valiant survivor run!

There are still three weeks left in the football season and four of our eight buy-in survivor pools have yet to be decided. We wish all our remaining survivors the best of luck this holiday stretch and hope that Survivor Santa will dish out winning gifts for the rest of the battle-tested participants who are still on the hunt for a huge winning haul!

NFL Survivor Picks for Week 16

There are quite a lot of division leaders with favorable matchups in Week 16 and we hope you saved one of either of these teams this late into the survivor campaign. The Chiefs are (-9.5) home favorites against the reeling Seahawks, while the Titans are (-7) faves to win as well hosting division rival Houston, which happens to be the worst team in the league. Then there’s (-8.5) road favorite Buffalo, which has a trip to Windy City head to take on the 3-11 Bears.

As appealing as those three matchups are, though, perhaps there’s an even better survivor lock despite what the odds would suggest. The Lions are merely slight (-2.5) favorites on the road in Week 16 but will take on a Panthers squad that lost to a mediocre Steelers offense without its starting rookie quarterback this past week. Detroit, on the other hand, has won six of its last seven games and is in a better position to secure a playoff spot than its upcoming opponent, as Carolina is barely staying afloat in the lackluster NFC South divisional race.
