Buccaneers and Saints Get into a Huge Brawl in NFL Week 2

By Jeff Stinger

Two undefeated teams in the early goings of the 2022 NFL season get into a heated battle and it’s between two division rivals, all the more.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the New Orleans Saints were embroiled in a crucial Week 2 showdown and things got out of hand with the two NFC South contenders pitted in a tight battle late in the game. Tampa Bay stud wide receiver Mike Evans was frustrated enough to the point that he threw a punch to New Orleans’ star cornerback Marshon Lattimore. A huge brawl ensued, with Evans and Lattimore getting ejected from the contest following the riot:

It’s clear that the Saints have gotten to the Bucs’ heads. Tom Brady, who has lost four straight meetings against the Saints, was also seen shouting all contest long after being held to just 150 passing yards by the fourth quarter:

Tampa Bay is already without wideouts Chris Godwin and Julio Jones due to injuries suffered earlier in the week, and the loss of Evans with the game tied at three points apiece in the final frame could cause huge ramifications to the final outcome of the game.
