Harris English

  • 2022 Sanderson Farms Championshipp Odds: +4,000

The last time that Harris English made a trip to Jackson was in 2019, taking home a superb T6 finish at the tournament in the process. It was during this year that the 33-year-old veteran rejuvenated his professional career, en route to winning two events in 2021. English tends to start the PGA TOUR season off on a strong foot, as seen with his T9 performance at the first at the Fortinet Championship just a couple of weeks ago. This makes him one of the strongest sleepers on the field this week, hands down.

Byeong Hun An

  • 2022 Sanderson Farms Championship Odds: +5,500

Another golfer who had an even better showing at the Silverado Country Club two weeks ago is Byeong Hun An, who finished tied for fourth at the tournament. An continues the trend of South Korean golfers on the rise across the PGA TOUR’s ranks, yet the simply affably named “Ben” has yet to win his first event on the grandest stage of them all. Similar to English, An also made his debut at the Country Club of Jackson in 2019 and came out with a third-place finish. The Seoul native even picked up a win on the Korn Ferry Tour earlier this February to give him even more momentum in his return trip to Jackson.

Davis Thompson

  • 2022 Sanderson Farms Championship Odds: +7,000

Joining English as a T9 finisher at the Fortinet Championship is 23-year-old upstart Davis Thompson, who made his professional debut just last year and is already off to a strong start to his sophomore PGA TOUR campaign. Thanks to that solid outing from the first tournament of the new season, Thompson is currently the leader in greens-in-regulation percentage (77.78%). Although the Georgia alum has little to no PGA TOUR experience to work with, his stellar season debut more than warrants enough sleeper consideration from a relatively weak field at Jackson this week.
