Lance Stroll

  • 2023 Canadian Grand Prix Odds: +10,000

“This is the last time we are not on the podium” is what Fernando Alonso claimed after the previous Spanish Grand Prix. Since then, however, reports say that Aston Martin is about to introduce the year’s biggest upgrade to the 2023 Canadian GP. This is good news for local boy Lance Stroll as he inches closer to his first podium finish this year.

The Montreal-born racing driver ranks eighth in the Drivers’ Standings with 35 points in seven starts. He logged his best results in the Australian Grand Prix where he finished P4, behind teammate Fernando Alonso. Moreover, Stroll recorded his fourth top-ten finish of the campaign at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya over a week ago and crossed the line in sixth place. We know he has the ability to go for a podium finish this season. With the upcoming upgrades this weekend, the Silverstone-based constructor could potentially fight for his best finish of the season in his hometown.

Lando Norris

  • 2023 Canadian Grand Prix Odds: +15,000

Norris remains one of the standout drivers of the 2022 F1 season, and it’s no mistake to think that he can still bounce back from a poor start this year. The Briton is now in his fifth season with McLaren. He currently ranks 11th in the Drivers’ Standings with 12 points in seven races. Lando continues the season as the constructors’ senior driver following Daniel Ricciardo’s departure from the team.

The 23-year-old from Bristol scored points in three of his last seven races. He finished 17th in the last Spanish Grand Prix but crossed ninth in the recently-held Monaco GP. We’ve seen inconsistent results come from the young driver but mainly due to an unsettled MCL35M. Norris ranks 11th in the 2023 Formula One standings with 12 points in seven appearances. Although the results aren’t to the team’s expectations, we know what Norris is capable of. If he can produce another decent qualifying session, we can look forward to better results from the McLaren driver.

Esteban Ocon

  • >2023 Canadian Grand Prix Odds: +15,000

The Frenchman gave Alpine its first podium finish of the season following a stellar performance around the streets of Monaco. It’s his sixth full season as a Formula 1 driver, and fourth with the French outfit. He currently ranks ninth in the standings with 25 points in seven races.

Ocon possesses a winning pedigree. After becoming a first-time F1 Grand Prix winner in 2021 in the Hungarian Grand Prix, we know he works hard to add more silverware to his collection. Despite struggling to repeat his win when the new generation of cars arrived in 2022, we’ve seen consistent results and points finishes come from the 26-year-old. Ocon can start working his way up to the front once again if the constructor can deliver the necessary upgrades moving forward.
