Hendrick Motorsports driver Chase Elliott is the +1100 opening odds favorite, followed by Ryan Blaney, Joey Logano, Brad Keselowski, and Kyle Busch all at +1200. No doubt, the odds will change before Sunday’s race.

2022 Coke Zero Sugar 400 Recap

Richard Childress scored first and second place. Austin Dillon finished first and Tyler Reddick came in second. Then rookie Austin Cindric finished third.

Four drivers continued the underdog finishes. Landon Cassill finished fourth, Noah Gragson finished fifth, Cody Ware sixth, and B.J. McCleod seventh. Martin Truex Jr., David Ragan, and Kyle Busch finished eighth, ninth, and tenth.

Top Choice to Win the 2023 Coke Zero Sugar 400

Joey Logano’s tenth place finish at Watkins Glen last week wasn’t bad. The tenth place came after a thirty-fourth place finish in the race before at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

In the Daytona 500, the last race at Daytona International Speedway, Joey started third. He moved his way up a spot to finish second. So Logano knows how to drive over the track.

Joey started third but finished twenty-second in this event last year. Logano should drive well enough for a much better finish. If his Daytona experience kicks into gear, Logano can win.

Second Choice to Win the 2023 Coke Zero Sugar 400

William Byron was an underdog heading into the 2022 Go Bowling at Watkins Glen, the last NASCAR race. The victory was Byron’s first since winning in Atlanta.

William could continue the decent finishes. He has a big shot of taking the checkered flag at Daytona International Speedway and deserves a look to make it back-to-back. However, at the Daytona 500, Byron finished thirty-fourth. So we’re going with Logano on top.

Third Choice to Win the 2023 Coke Zero Sugar 400

So far this season, Ryan Blaney has raced well over the Daytona track. Ryan finished third in the Duel 1 at Daytona. Then in the Daytona 500, Blaney finished an excellent eighth.

Ryan is driving well. He finished ninth at Watkins Glen in the last. Before the ninth place finish, Blaney had finished ninth at Michigan and thirteenth at Indianapolis.

For sure, Ryan Blaney can win this. If you believe he’s a better pick than Byron or Logano, we won’t argue.

Top Underdog to Win the 2023 Coke Zero Sugar 400

Tyler Reddick heads to the Coke Zero Sugar 400, a race where he finished second last year, off a couple of terrific back-to-back finishes. At Indianapolis, Tyler finished fourth.

Then in his last, Reddick finished a solid eighth. If the odds stay at +2500, Tyler is an overlay play. He’s in great form and finished second in this last season.

Even if the odds lower to around +2000, Reddick remains a great underdog choice to win the 2023 NASCAR Coke Zero 400.
