Joey Logano took home the checkered flag. Following Logano in second was Richard Childress Racing’s Tyler Reddick.
Justin Hailey finished third, Kevin Harvick fourth, and Chase Elliott fifth. Christopher Bell finished sixth.
Top Choice to Win the 2023 Goodyear 400
The defending champ offers much better odds than he should to make it back-to-back Goodyear 400 wins. Joey Logano finished sixth at Kansas Speedway in the last.
The sixth place finish came after a thirty-first place finish at Dover Motor Speedway. Logano finished second at the Daytona 500, first at Atlanta, and second at Martinsville.
If Joey’s form has turned around, he’s going to be very difficult to keep from doing donuts after a victory. Logano starts to pick it up around this time every season. So we should expect a great performance by the underrated driver.
Second Top Choice to Win the 2023 Goodyear 400
It took Denny Hamlin a while, but he finally scored a trophy. When Denny and his crew get it going, they can for sure win back-to-back.
Denny can put together three to four straight wins. In this case, Hamlin has been driving well for over a month. Save for a seventeenth place finish at Talladega, Denny has had a shot to win in most of the other races.
Hamlin finished fourth at Martinsville and fifth at Dover before the Kansas win. The second choice can get it done. So if you don’t mind the odds, go for it.
Third Top Choice to Win the 2023 Goodyear 400
Kyle Busch got into an accident last Sunday, which is why he finished thirty-fifth. If not for the accident, who knows? Maybe, Kyle wins another race.
Busch has won twice with 5 top tens and 3 top five finishes. The win came at Talladega. Busch scored a pole win at Dover before crossing the line twenty-first. If Busch returns to form, he’ll have a great shot of winning another trophy.
Top Underdog Choice to Win the 2023 Goodyear 400
Before the sixteenth place finish at Kansas, the top underdog play had been knocking on the door.
Blaney finished seventh at Martinsville. Ryan almost won at Talladega finishing second. Then at Dover, Blaney almost won again, finishing third.
Blaney finished seventeenth in this last year. He’s going to have to improve. But if he does, he can win. Ryan offers decent enough odds to warrant a look as this Sunday’s top underdog play.
