2023 Nitro NFL Survivor Pools: Week 3 Recap
The Witching Week Has Arrived
Nitrobetting continues to deliver the best NFL survivor experience on the web with its 2023 Nitro NFL Survivor Pool contests with a total prize purse worth over 5.6 BTC (~$147,000) across multiple public and private survivor pools. The other shoe had to drop sometime, and it did so in Week 3 to the dismay of countless survivor participants. In particular, the Cowboys (double-digit favorites against the spread) led to the majority of eliminations when they were upset on the road against the winless Cardinals. The Colts’ upset over the Ravens also resulted in numerous knockouts for those who backed undefeated Baltimore to win on the road. In turn, there was a massive deluge of survivor eliminations across our eight buy-in survivor pools. Our MVP and Prospect Pools got hit the hardest; the MVP Pool saw their player count go from 66 in Week 2 to just 29 this week, while a Prospect Pool that had 212 survivors entering Week 3 is now down to 96 survivors. Our top-prized Nitrogen Pool is still in the double-digit survivor count but did see its population dip from 21 to just 12. Last but not least, over half of the survivors were knocked out of contention in our Hall of Fame Pool as there are just 21 survivors left standing. Here’s how the 2023 Nitro NFL Survivor Pool landscape looks after Week 3:
NFL Survivor Picks for Week 4
Perhaps now’s the time to pull the trigger on Kansas City as KC travels to Orchard Park to take on the Jets under the primetime lights of Sunday Night Football. The Chiefs are (+9.5) road favorites to beat a New York team that has a downright putrid offense for as long as Zach Wilson is under center. The Eagles are also in a favorable matchup against the Commanders, as Washington is currently a (+7.0) underdog after getting blown out by the Bills in Week 3.One might be tempted to lock in the 49ers this week as massive (-14.0) favorites to win in their divisional showdown against the Cardinals. However, the Cards have been far from the worst team in football right now and are hot off a stunning upset over the Cowboys. There are better matchups ahead before picking the Niners in your survivor pool as Arizona’s momentum smells of a trap game, at least in terms of bets against the spread.
