An exciting Week 4 slate turned out to be not as impactful in our Nitro NFL Survivor buy-in pools. That’s actually a good thing, as the majority of of remaining survivors escaped the week scott-free. Exactly how much or, in this week’s case, how little damage was done to our eight main buy-in survivor pools?

Thankful 4 the Reprieve
Nitrobetting continues to deliver the best NFL survivor experience on the web with its 2023 Nitro NFL Survivor Pool contests with a total prize purse worth over 5.9 BTC (~$162,000) across multiple public and private survivor pools. There weren’t any significant upsets on Week 4’s slate, which means that our survivors can breathe easy for at least this round of eliminations. The Eagles and the Chiefs prevented upsets in their respective and favorable matchups against the Commanders and Jets. Otherwise, we might have had another massacre following the bloodbath that was Week 3. To our pleasant surprise, only a total of seven out of 407 players were eliminated in Week 6 across all eight of our buy-in survivor pools that started play in Week 1. Kudos to everyone who made the right calls, namely our All Pro, MVP, Hall of Fame, and Nitrogen Pools, which all left the week unscathed. Even our Week 3 Restart Survivor Pools, which got off to a rocky start due to last week’s events, maintained a healthy population count in general. The next few weeks will add a wrinkle to everybody’s decisions with the bye weeks on tap. That means survivors have to be more strategic with their weekly selections. Best of luck to all of you who’ve survived through the first full month of NFL action thus far, as the real fun is just about to begin. NFL Survivor Picks for Week 5
There’s no better time to pull out some riskier gambits than in Week 5 as most of the top playoff contenders don’t have clear-cut winnable matchups. The closest to being a surefire lock this week is the Dolphins as (-9.5) home favorites against the Giants, who arguably have the league’s worst offensive line having just allowed a whopping 11 sacks to the Seahawks on Monday Night Football. However, there are a couple of other teams that warrant survivor consideration now while the getting is good. The aforementioned Commanders are currently (-6.5) home faves versus the Bears. Washington just gave the Eagles all they could handle as the team nearly pulled off an upset over the defending NFC champs in overtime, whereas the Bears remain winless after blundering their best shot at a victory against the underperforming Broncos. Elsewhere, the Lions are also heavy (-9.5) favorites to beat the Panthers in Week 6. Detroit has proven to be the cream of the NFC North crop with a potent offense that can expose Carolina’s worst flaws. Both the Bears and the Panthers are the league’s remaining winless teams, giving the Lions and Commanders a ton of attention as viable survivor locks this week.Where to Bet on the NFL with Crypto
