Week 4 gave most of our survivors plenty of breathing room. That was no longer the case in Week 5, as several key upsets led to a rather significant amount of eliminations. Exactly how much damage was dealt to our eight main Nitro NFL Survivor buy-in pools?

Trying Hard to Stay Alive in Week 5

Our top-prized Nitrogen Pool is now down to a single-digit population count from 12 survivors last week to eight this week, while the MVP and Hall of Fame Pools are also each down to the ‘teens in player count. On average, about 20 percent of the survivor population was eliminated in Week 5 across all eight of our main buy-in survivor pools. NFL Survivor Picks for Week 6
At first glance, the Chiefs as (-10.5) home favorites to beat the Broncos on Thursday night football appears to be a surefire survivor winner in Week 6. However, Kansas City is still a high-value survivor lock that could pay off much later down the schedule with more meetings against the likes of Las Vegas and Denver (again) still on the calendar. That being said, perhaps now’s the best time to invest in one of the two current leaders of the AFC East. The Dolphins are heavy (-13.5) home faves to win over the winless Panthers, and so too are the Bills as (-14.0) home favorites to rout the Giants. With a 3-2 record to date and after having just undergone a massive upset in the UK, this could be the best moment to take Buffalo in survivor. The Bills are going up against a putrid Daniel Jones-led G-Men offense and would want nothing more than to take out their frustrations from the Week 5 loss to the Jags on their underperforming neighbors from New York.
