Tom Hoge shot a -19 to beat Jordan Spieth by 2 strokes. Spieth’s -17 was a stroke better than Beau Hossler at -16.
Troy Merritt and Patrick Cantlay signed their cards in fourth place at a tied -15. At -14, Joel Dahmen and Andrew Putnam finished a tied sixth. Three players finished a tied ninth at -13: Jonathan Byrd, Pat Perez, and Seamus Power.

Viktor Hovland didn’t play at the 2022 Pebble Beach Pro Am. But although that gives him a slight disadvantage, Viktor has been on fire.
He started his season finishing fifth at the ZOZO Championship. From there, he finished twenty-first at The CJ Cup, and tenth at the World Wide Technology Championship.
Then Viktor won the Hero World Challenge and finished eighteenth at the Sentry Tournament of Champions. Hovland is sitting on a big performance.
2023 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Second Pick
Last season, Matt Fitzpatrick played well enough to win this tournament. Last year’s U.S. Open winner should be in the final pairing on Sunday this week.
Fitzpatrick has played in just 3 tournaments so far this season. He finished thirteenth at both The CJ Cup and the Hero World Challenge. Then in his last tournament played, Matt finished a tied seventh.
Fitzpatrick shot a 66-69-66-70. So he was right there in the Sentry Tournament of Champions. Give Matt Fitzpatrick a huge shot to win this year’s Pebble Beach Pro Am.

It’s impossible to leave Spieth from our picks. Jordan shot a -17 at the 2022 Pebble Beach Pro Am. That was downright impressive.
What’s interesting about the score is that Jordan Spieth shot a 63 third round, which, no doubt, is why he finished in the top five. If Jordan shoots that well in all four rounds at this year’s Pebble Beach Pro Am, he will win.
But Spieth missed the cut at the Sony Open in the last tournament played. So there’s no telling if he will provide a top effort, which is why we pick him third.
2023 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Underdog Pick
In eight tournaments played this season, Beau Hossler has yet to crack the top 15. Not only that, but he missed the cut in two tournaments: the Cadence Bank Houston Open and the Farmers Insurance Open.
Ah, but Hossler finished at -16 and in third place all by himself at last season’s Pebble Beach Pro Am. Also, Beau offers +5220. So if you’re looking to take a shot, Hossler is a good play.
