The 2023 TOUR Championship is the 17th edition of the final tournament in the PGA TOUR’s FedExCup Playoffs system introduced back in 2007. However, it was only in 2019 that the TOUR changed the format of the Playoffs to guarantee that the winner of the TOUR Championship will also be crowned as the FedExCup champion.
A massive prize purse worth $75 million is at stake in East Lake this week. With such a significant total payout, even the 10th-place finisher of the tournament will still take home an otherworldly seven-digit paycheck.
