Oddsmakers have updated the 2024 NCAAB Championship lines. UConn has fallen from a +480 favorite to +450. Houston is no longer a +650 second choice and Purdue is now a +650 third choice from +750. Arizona’s odds have risen from +1300 odds to +1500 while Iowa State’s have dropped dramatically from +3000 to +1900. The key, though, is the emergence of senior Hason Ward. Ward averaged 6 points per game during the regular season. Versus the Cougs, Ward scored 13 in 13 minutes. If Ward can bring it in every game in the tournament, the Cyclones will be a force.

You could easily choose the Tar Heels over the Wildcats or Cyclones and still have a great shot if, and this is a big if, UConn implodes, which isn’t likely to happen.
