Atlanta Braves vs. Philadelphia Phillies

Braves versus Phillies should be epic. Sure, it’s game 1 of 162, but who cares? It’s still Braves versus Phillies.

The ATL sends Cy Young chalk Spencer Strider to the mound. Because Strider takes the hill, the Braves should be slight favorites over their NL East rivals. Strider holds Philadelphia to a .192 batting average as a team. Spencer has struck out 79, given up just 38 hits, and allowed just 8 home runs in 198 Philadelphia at-bats.
