Top Pick to Win the 2024 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix
Charles Leclerc wasn’t horrible in Bahrain. Sure, he finished close to 40 seconds behind Verstappen and in fourth place, 40 seconds is an eternity in auto racing, but it’s obvious that both Charles and Ferrari teammate Carlos Sainz, who finished third, are in faster cars this season.
Leclerc finished second in this last year. If he gets the same luck, he can turn the tables on Perez and, maybe, keep Verstappen at bay. So taking a shot on Leclerc again, like we did last week, makes sense.
Second Pick to Win the 2024 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix
Red Bull and Max Verstappen are pummeling their opponents. What the constructor and driver have done in the past three seasons is unreal in the history of auto racing.
Still, we can’t help but believe a team is going to catch up. Then again, at -450 in what has become Mike Tyson, Max is Iron Mike, versus Mitch Green every Sunday aren’t bad odds.
Third Pick to Win the 2024 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix
Sergio Perez finished second to Max in Bahrain. Sergio was a full 22-plus second behind his teammate, which tells us the car that’s getting the most love. However, before going against Perez, it’s important to note that he did win this in 2023, and he did finish second to Verstappen.
Maybe, the Jeddah Circuit is one of those that challenges Max. The odds aren’t overlaid. They are fair, though.
Top Underdog Pick to Win the 2024 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix
McLaren’s belief that grabbing engineers from Red Bull last season didn’t work out so great in Bahrain. Norris’s teammate, Oscar Piastri, finished eighth.
Lando Norris finished sixth. However, it was the first race. So let’s hand out the mulligan. The odds, for sure, make Norris playable if you believe Great Max fumbles on Sunday.
